We tried carne, vegetariana and pollo. All of them delicious! Very friendly service also. Great stop for a snack!

Usually Bolivians have a Sallteña at around 11 in the morning as a small bite in between breakfast and lunch. It is served quickly, convenient and is one of the best small dishes you can have. La Paceña is known to be one of the...More
So thankful for a place with great vegetarian salteñas! Pretty basic layout but 6.50bs for a Salteña is not bad.
Salteña is one of the typical snacks you can eat at mornings! You can taste them in different flavors like chicken, meat, cheese and other styles! You can't visit La Paz without tasting them! The decoration of the place is regular but the food delicious!
Just be careful with the Salteña itself because it has soup inside. you can have it spicy or normal taste, other options are chicken or beef, etc. This meal is usually for the half morning, if you are in a hurry you can eat it...More
Nice and quick meal in La Paz. They have four fillings: chicken, beef, vegetarian and Hawai. We tried all and especially liked the chicken en veggie. It’s a bit more expensive then a saltena on the street but you can sit down and have a...More
We had a local recommendation for this place because we wanted to try the autentic bolivian salteña and it was super cool. The salteñas are fresh made and very tasty. I recommend.
Despite its small size, you wont find a better option in salteñas in La Paz, since both the jigote and the dough are delicious!
We were recommended here by staff at our hostel, and were not disappointed. Delicious salteñas, good value for money. We went back for more another day! Looked clean with decent hand washing facilities too. Recommend.
People, let's get real. A saltena is just an empanada, a pasty, a turnover. An excellent snack in the middle of a busy day. This little joint is just fine for a pick-me-up. Their food is good, quick, and the kids working there are nice.
