One of my favorite restaurants previously Im sorry to say that the quality of food has declined drastically. The last two times we were there we sent back food some of which was practically raw. Its a shame because the setting is great.

Ninar was our primary pub...the place all of our friends - local and foreign - would gather to enjoy Efs beer and delicious, local peanuts. We had no need for fancy appetizers or uppity entrees. We visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay, it was a great spot for lunch. The food was really delicious we thought, we had a selection of dips and mezze and loved it. Only thing that was not so great was the service which, whilst pleasant, was very slow. But hey, when in Syria, everything happens on Syrian time!

Enjoyed drinks and chicken in the pot and chilli dip. Close and conveniently located in Bab Touma to hotels and attractions in old Damascus. Chill and interesting outside with groups of young adults coming in and out and hanging out.
