On our first day in Beirut our friends took us to have a good Lebanese lunch. The starters were so filling we could not think of ordering main course. From hommos to fatoush, habra , grilled halloum, sausages & a lot others with cold beers 🍻 & nice deserts. The catch up & the surroundings made the lunch very enjoyable.

Everything was perfect! All the dishes we 've tried were delicious, I had a Lebanese specialty with fish and nuts, and the dessert was over the top. The stuff was friendly, clever, and our waiter was very polite and took time to help us choose our meal, answering to all of our questions. Even though I don't eat red meat,... More

We visited this place on our last day in Beirut to try local cuisine and were not disappointed! As the original place is undergoing renovation, the restaurant is currently (as we understood) located on the 3rd floor of shopping mall (on food court). However, let this not confuse you - the seating (separately for smoking - outside - and nonsmoking... More

I am an usual client since 2008 and "Abdel Wahab", in my opinion, is definitely THE restaurant in Beirut. In a picturesque and enchanting context where you can feel lebanese culture, very kind staff welcome you to the restaurant. The terrace, in good weather, is a sort of magic place out of time. Delicious and refined courses of lebanese cuisine... More

The place is nice, appealing and the staff are welcoming. However, smokers are everywhere!!! The is a nice place to eat. Appetizers are pretty good. Hunmus and everything else are tasty. This is a good place for families and friends.

Amongst the many local restaurants offering Lebanese food, it becomes mere curiosity to try a new one, a different one. We have been to the one in the backyard hazmieh. Love the yard . Love the restaurant. Nice place, courteous staff. The food is good and the restaurant offers a wide variety. The menu is bilingual which is necessary. I... More

Abdel Wahad is one of the oldest story of classy Arabic food in Lebanon. I Like this place where you can taste a perfect Lebanese dishes without sophistication. It is a great place to eat and enjoy food with family and friends.

We visited this restaurant for dinner based on recommendations on Trip Advisor and we weren't let down. The food was full of flavour, the portions were a good size, there was an endless supply of Lebanese bread and once ordered, the food arrived quickly. As is common in the Middle East, all the food arrived together, i.e. the starters and... More
