We loved our lunch at Mum and I. On a Tuesday we ordered a delicious "Moghrabieh" and then had fantastic mhallabieh desert. I hate eating the traditional mezze when I go to restaurant serving Lebanese cuisine and I always dreamt of a place where I could enjoy traditional home dishes. Thank you Mum and I !

A lovely family style restaurant with real traditional Lebanese home cooking. This is as close to authentic as you get in Beirut.

This place is very cool, "bistrot" style. Samia's mum surely knew how to cook traditional Lebanese dishes. It will remind you your childhood: Maacaroni bil furn and bifteak are not ancestral dishes in Lebanon but they are surely part of our 20th century's heritage.

I just love the concept of this restaurant with dishes not regularly found in restaurants. They offer real home cooking dishes deliciously prepared. The ambiance and the setting add to the uniqueness of this place.

A real gem of a restaurant. From the first moment when one is welcomed in to the dining area by the staff and the proprietress, this place has a lovely atmosphere. Service was attentive, punctual and courteous. The food is the old-fashioned plates that we don't often see in Lebanese restaurants these days. And the cooking is exquisite. I look... More

Nice ana small place to spent couple of hours there. Mostly lebanies and western food the menu was in french i need to ask about some dishes, mostly you have to get a reservation first especially in vacation days.
