When with the kids and we want somewhere they can enjoy good fast food on the way to a playground or to play somewhere, it is a good option to pass by.

If you're hungry and on the move, looking for a quick bite, fresh breads and Lebanese manakeesh, this is a great stop point. Add to that a tea, coffee or fresh juice and call it cheap and cheerful, quality local breakfast away from your hotel. The restaurant staff have good knowledge of the menu and what's on offer. Originally they started with different types of bread...then they moved to manouche (bread topped with thyme) and other stuff...besides a variety of toasted stick bread (kaak) and sweets...they have many branches all over Lebanon...they serve coffee, tea and other beverages...I like it...

Professional service and welcoming. Good tasting food. Good prices. High standards in quality. The bread is a little bit sweet which increases its attractiveness. The cakes are always fresh. The prices are reasonable

Wooden Bakey is my favorite place to get a mannoushe while in Beirut! I like the thin bread better than some of the other places. My favorite is half zaater - half cheese with veggies (olives, tomato, mint, cucumber). Delicious!
