Amazing authentic Japanese food. All the staff were wonderful. The manager Andy took good care of us. We all loved our experience there. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants.

There was no loud music or annoying background sounds. The surroundings encompassing natural wood and rice paper walls provide a soothing environment where normal conversations can flow. The food preparation and presentation is pleasing to the eye, while the service is attentive yet not over whelming. There are ample offerings and selections for Vegetarians.

As said earlier by a reviewer that it never fails to impress. Had been twice to this restaurant at Gulf hotel. True taste, fair quantity and at reasonable price. It has made us all a big Sushi fan....

i've been in bahrain for 17years and Sato Japanese Restaurant of The Gulf Hotel Bahrain is a favorite. If you are a first timer for Japanese cuisine, Sato is the place to go to. Value for money and the quality of the food are well balance.

Very tasty, quality Japanese food from sushi hits to tempura treats. The Saki is also a must do when visiting Sato. Good for lunch and a relaxing dinner.

Love this restaurant. Good chef. Good fresh food. Pleasant staff. You can tell if a Japanese restaurant is good if the customers are.japanese. which they are usually. Nice for a special occasion as it's it cheap

We had gone with a bunch of friends. One if the best Japanese restaurants for vegetarian options. Chef Arnel knows how to cook the food to perfection. Service is a little slow...but the delicious food makes up for it.

Sato is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Bahrain! The fish is fresh, the makis' are tasty, and their live teppanyaki cooking will definitely enhance your dinner experience. Be sure to try their Hamachi Jalapeños, Tampa Maki (old or new style), Geisha Maki, and any of their Teppanyaki dishes! Enjoy!!

It was quite an experience as I took my key clients for lunch. They really enjoyed the experience and were thrilled with the authenticity of the environment.
