I and my friend decided to leave the restaurant as we noticed that we cannot stay longer. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.More

The place is very nice good infrastructure, great ambiance but the food let them down. Even so many dish were not available specially Lamb dishes. Staff was also not very confident about the food knowledge and the brand as well. We heard a lot about...the place and even on trip advisor they are rated high. Didn't found any authenticity in food. Seasoning was missing.More

Just enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in Riyadh. Presentations are beautiful and food is superb. The rice! Such wonderful flavors, perfumed w saffron. The bread! So perfectly cooked and chewy. The salad! Delish light citrus dressing and extra fresh veggies. Main...dishes were SO delicious. Service was attentive and thoughtful. My new favorite place to eat.More

The restaurant is beautiful and has a distinctive location in Tahlia Street in Riyadh Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Street where there is a menu for breakfast and the best of what is distinguished by bread and some dishes such as tuna and cheese eggs,...the price is exaggerated perhaps because of the location and service is OK,More

Visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast. After a short wait we got to sit in the open area which was nice and spacious. We had Shakshuka, an omlette, some grilled Haloumi and bread, some tea and water - all for SAR 82. The food...was delicious and the portions generous. The omlette was probably a bit dry but I have to say we both enjoyed the whole experience and will definately return soon to try some of the other dishes.More

The soup will water your mouth (even writing this review, my mouth is watering). Tahlia Street is full of many elegant restaurant/food outlet in Riyadh. Bab Al Yemen is one of them. If you are visiting Riyadh do visit this restaurant & enjoy the Yemeni...delicacy. It offer single & family section, with a very decent ambience. The serving is more than enough. I recommend this restaurant.More

It’s the first time I see a Yemeni restaurant with such modern style. In this restaurant you will find great food, attentive waiters, and affordable prices. The menu is large as they offer lots of items outside the scope of Yemeni cuisine. I only wish...there was Yemeni music to complete the experience. Anyway, with a good company you are all set here.More

Yemen culture is probably the most authentic and least influenced by outsiders in the region! hence this place offers a true venture into pure flavors, a la Arabian!

Came with few friends to try Yemeni food for the first time. There were no Yemenis serving us, it would have been nice to have at least one Yemeni guy to explain to us what the [very few] Yemeni dishes are about. There is no...shortage of Yemenis in KSA or Riyadh. Come on. The servers didn't know how to explain what the dishes are about. Ordered a salad (which turned out to be a salad with an Italian dressing), some humus (also, not a Yemeni authentic dish) and two Yemeni dishes, which were served in plates or cooking-ware made of stone. One was like minced lamb meat cooked with a tomato sauce, an ok dish, and the other was some lamb meat cooked with vegetables, the soup that comes out of this plate was tasty, but the meat and vegetables had no real flavor. We will be trying other Yemeni restaurants in the city. The service nevertheless was good, and the staff friendly.More

Came for dinner at 7.30pm and it was extremely quite. This was based on recommendation from a friend. From the outside this restaurant looks very sophisticated and gives the impression it will be expensive. Compared to some restaurants in Riyadh however, the menu was very...reasonably priced. The food was very good. However in my opinion it wasn't anything amazing. I certainly wouldn't write home about it. It is perfectly adequate for an average evening meal. We were served our starters and our mains all at the same time. The waiter stated that the chef had to go. This somewhat ruined our dining experience which is why I scoring 4 stars. The toilet is western in style and is clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Our waiter Jojo was very attentive and talked us through the menu when we were unsure what we were ordering. You can see the kitchens from the dining area and they look very clean. You also have a lovely view of the kingdom tower. In terms of mobility, this restaurant lends itself to easy wheelchair access with wide isles between the tables.More

I had never tried Yemeni food before I came to this restaurant. One of my Yemeni colleagues brought me here and I was glad that he did. The food is different from the standard Lebanese fare prominent in the city and there is a variety....I particularly recommend the Salta and Fahsah dishes. All the dishes are served in a pot adding a distinct flavour to them. The raisin juice is worth trying it's refreshing and not too sweet. They have white and red raisin juice however they never seem to have red raisin juice no matter how many times I have been there. The desserts are an acquired taste however I liked the Arika. If you happen to be in Riyadh, I would recommend trying it if you want to try something different and pleasant.More
