Atmosphere: 4/5 Hospitality :3/5 Services :3/5 Food: 4/5 Price : very low Overall: worth the visit Comments: although a bit overrated, this place is full with locals and tourists. Everything they provide is very nice, although nothing is too special. We had a satisfying meal for 4 people for less than 10JD. More interesting places can be found in Amman,... More

This is a plain, out door eating spot where everyone in Jordan seems to come for the fabulous food. They serve hummus, falafel and feol with pita and tea and water. You sit where there is space and they put clean paper on the table or your section of table. You tell them what you want and you can point... More

Had a chance to have food from one of the most famous foodie place in Jordan .. Hashem ! Very good, delicious food. My only suggestion is to beef up the menu with more vegetarian items.

As many people have already written, this is a great place for falafel and hummus at a good price. You will not be disappointed with the Egyptian chef's cooking. The secret may be in the local Jordanian olive oil. Great lunch spot.

We had great food very fresh. The restaurant is outside in the center of Amman. People are very nice. Perfect if you want to eat good fresh food for very cheap.

Don't be expecting a fancy restaurant. This is basically a kiosk with a lot of seating area in what looks like an alley. Lots of locals eat here. Food is basic ( hummus, falafel...) but tasty and very cheap. Good for a quick lunch while exploring Downtown.

We had planned on eating here after reading about it on tripadvisor. Then, when we asked our taxi driver in Amman where he eats and he said "Hashem," we knew we had to check it out. Location was easy to find and had a nice outdoor seating area (almost in an alleyway) with indoor seating as well. Staff was friendly... More

Excellent Jordanian food, expertly prepared, for a fraction of the cost that hotels charge! Look out for it. You will NOT be disappointed

This is a popular, inexpensive and tasty vegetarian falafel place in the downtown Amman. We used 7 JOD for a tasty vege meal for two.
