We found the missing restaurant in Tel-Aviv! The fabulous Lili Ben Shalom had succeeded with a unique formula to bring to Tel-Aviv a beautiful, authentic place which brings a lot of vitality and energy to the central city. After varied meals in Racha we can't stop praising the special experience we felt there! In Racha we found much more than... More

Atmosphere, service and food are amazing. A must for Jerusalem travelers. Thursday's they have two percussionists playing that really rock the house. The whole restaurant is dancing.

I've visited Jerusalem a few days ago, and a friend recommended me to go to Racha, a Georgian restaurant located in cantral Jerusalem. A place with a special environment, and traditonal food. A cozy place with a homely atmosphere. The food was great and special, lots of new flavours. The service was high class, and always with a smile. Me... More

Had dinner at Racha with my husband and two colleagues. The food was amazing and the owners and their family are so warm and hospitable. We had a fantastic evening and hope to make it back again. A wonderful evening in a great part of Jerusalem. Thanks for spoiling us.

We came for dinner, but were very short of time. It's the kind of place where you should take your time, relax, enjoy the food and the atmosphere. We enjoyed it still, but should return when we have a whole evening. The food was tasty - especially the first courses, the service was good. They had a large group, and... More

Everything tastes like ground pepper, the owner is trying to push you to order the most expensive stuff.

In short, much more than a restaurant dinner : on our second visit at the place we (my wife and myself ) celebrated our anniversary together with 2 more couples. This time we had the chance to taste dishes we "skiped" on our previous visits. Each and every dish tasted was a masterpiece and the meal as a whole was... More

Description
Georgian Cuisine like You've Never Tasted Racha Restaurant is located at Hahavatzelet St. in the heart of Jerusalem, in a building dated from the time of the British mandate in Israel. The inspiration for the restaurant's name, Racha, comes from a breathtaking region in Georgia, where the restaurant owners were born.Racha is a Georgian restaurant, offering a unique culinary and ethnic experience, from the interior design to the hosts and chef who were born in Racha. An ancient legend tells, "When G-d divided the earth into the nations of the world, the Georgians were too busy eating and drinking, and arrived too late. They invited G-d to join them and so He gave them the land He had been saving for Himself".The restaurant proudly continues the Georgian tradition of plenty and infinite hospitality. On the premises are two luxurious bars, one for smoking, serving authentic Georgian tapas to satisfy every palate. We invite you to be part of this extraordinary experience combining fine food and sumptuous drink. The restaurant holds events with up to 100 guests.Owner name : Lily , Traditional Georgian Cuisine
