It is really excellent , fantastic food , flavour and taste that you never have tasted !!! Try the Azura dish , it is simply superb . Service... More

My wife, born in Baghdad, had heard about this restaurant located in the Machane Yehuda market and wanted to try it. We were greeted by at least 12 pots of aromatic concoctions bubbling on stoves (see photo). I was told that each dish is prepared every morning and served until it runs out. We and our lunch companions ordered different... More

Loved it as usual. Fun, authentic and tasty. Can not miss it: mahane Yehuda is a real treat, and Azura Is the best of it.

In the process of looking for another restaurant we accidentally happened on Azora. We had no idea that it was so highly rated, but at the end understood why. We had 2 starters (we had learned that portions were large in Israel): hummus (excellent) and falafel (this was our first time trying it . . . we decided we didn’t... More

I enjoy that you can walk in and look into the large pots of hot fresh meals and decide based on what looks good to you instead of simply reading from a menu. The down side is that the food is overpriced. For example, one large meatball (just a meatball, comes with nothing else) is 28 NIS ($7.30 USD). We... More

The best thing to do is to order the small plate’s dinner, that offer a samples, from each and every dish, cooking in the kitchen, you will not be disappointed.

We were taken here by a local and so glad we came. This is a little stall of a restaurant, not fancy. Best homemade food we had. Unique! Try the Signature dish..Azura. Hummus is amazing as well. Friendly people and great service.

This traditional restaurant at the Mahneh Yehuda Market, is known to many. I visited without too many expectations and was positively surprised. The place is lively and inviting and the food is simply good. I recommend the house specialty called "Azura". Try it as well as the different "Sufritos". I surely will come back and bring my friends too.
