Had ‘Kima’ for 65 INS. Definitely not cheap but very delicious. Staff are friendly & it seems authentic. I haven’t had a lot of true Israeli food so can’t really compare but it felt good on the taste buds.

Doesn't worth the effort.. the market has plenty of wonderful places nearby, by half the price and a more pleasant environment and a reasonable price.

Best local food we had in our entire trip to Israel and Palestine. Aboslutely loved this place for both its food and the atmosphere which is very local. The market that the cafe is located is also well worth visiting

Weaving in and out of the crowds at the Mechane Yehuda Market on the first day of Sukkoth, we finally tracked down the gem of Azura restaurant. We had raced against the clock to have our lunch before the restaurant closed early to celebrate this...More

This is a no-nonsense great place to eat in the Machane Yehuda market's Iraqi section. The meatballs are extraordinary, along with the requisite pickles, chumus, and onions. The service fast and the feel totally authentic.

A very old restaurant (3 generations on Iraqi food cooking) For those who likes it, it will be a good culinary experience. They use too much oil and I liked it less But the food was special and delicious

This restaurant must be tops since our native Jerusalem friend hosted us there for an authentic Middle Eastern dinner. It's small, crowded and busy but the food is delicious and the service very hospitable. Located off the main corridor in the busy Machane Yehuda Market...More

This is an Iraqi style Israeli home dishes restaurant. You can get the essence of Israeli food here. It's the dishes you will get if you are a guest of an Israeli Iraqi grandma for a holiday dinner. Really, really good. Better than any other...More

We were taken to Azura by a local and it didn't disappoint. We tried about five dishes at this unassuming Iraqi cafe and all were delicious. It's a bit tucked away in a corner of the market and is a modest sort of place. Tripadvisor ranks...More

Sabbath or not, they are not open in the evenings. Anyway, the food is finished very quickly (after 3 or 4 pm, you are left with "left over"). So I don't think there is a need to serve in the evenings.

Hello Simone. Sorry about the delay. II spoke with Nir, one of the owners and chefs of Azura. He stated some of the items gluten free: Sofrito (a long cooked stew with potatoes), Kima-a meal I personally had: very large... More
