This restaurant exists for decades (since 1952) has become an integral part of Mahaneh Yehuda market. They serve "slow food" (in contrast to "fast food") - Israeli food, simple and tasty. It's not an expensive restaurant, another advantage of the place. Recommended!

Sabbath or not, they are not open in the evenings. Anyway, the food is finished very quickly (after 3 or 4 pm, you are left with "left over"). So I don't think there is a need to serve in the evenings.
