Food and Views. What else can you ask for? Climbing to the roof allows you excellent views within the Old City. The coffee and cake at the cafe was real nice afterwards.

It is really part of history , I know this place from my childhood , it was a hospital and few years ago it turned back to the owners the Austrians where they are managing the place as a guest house with a coffee place ... great view on the roof

This is a very nice place to rest your feet, quell your thirst and recharge your phone after a busy day of sightseeing in the Old City. Comfortable lounging, outdoor terrace with bird song and fine views over nearby roofs and Via Dolorosa. Tried the pizza but well, it wasn't invented in Austria, was it? Staff is friendly and cheerful. Ring... More

Unfortunately, the restaurant fails by being overpriced with very bad, amateurish service. I paid 14 nis just for a small cup of instant coffee. I was going to try the... More

Without a doubt, this is our favorite lunch place in the Old City, and we've been there four times. It's got a convenient location near the Lion's Gate on Al Wad street. The restaurant is run by Austrian college students who stay for a year. The meals are simple and simply delicious! They don't accept credit cards but the prices... More

This hotel and restaurant is tucked into the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It has great food on a cold winter day, and must be beautiful in the summer. Their apple cider (non-alcoholic) is highly recommended, especially in the winter. The hospice has beautiful views of the Old City and seems like a very friendly environment to... More
