The very friendly waiter speaks good English. The drinks were fine and the same I can remark for the appetizers. The main course for all of us (we were a group of six) was disappointing. No real taste. The chicken made the Arabic way and...the chicken curry seemed to be the same. The curry not spicy at all. Disappapointing.More

We loved this place. We had shish kabobs, grilled vegetables, rice, and baklava. The waiter's English was good and they accept credit cards.

Food looked like the cheapest junk food you have ever eaten. I was disappointed. Waste of money and time.

This restaurant was recommended by our friend Amos from Israel. We were a group of 18 from Poland. This is a family restaurant. The owner is the chef and he gets help from his son. Amazing Mediterranean food. Everybody chose a different meal, grilled fish,...fish in mustard sauce, lamb chops or steak. Appetizers are Arabic style. The wine was really good as well. After dinner the family joined our table and were telling stories of their restaurant. Location in the city center, very good kitchen, fresh ingredients, and not too expensive. Hihgly recommended for all visitors in Jerusalem.WiesiekMore

A nice break from the craziness of the Old City markets right outside. Good food at reasonable prices with friendly service. No sketchy ripoffs like many of the places nearby. :) Highly recommend!

Our group of 6 visited Amigo Emil during our stay in the Old City of Jerusalem and enjoyed a wonderful Middle Eastern dinner. Nice selection of items on the menu - everything we ordered was wonderful. The atmosphere here was awesome and further enhanced our...group dinner. Service was good as well. We had a great evening here!More

The atmosphere is exceptional. The food is tasty and there is a wide variety. Our party of 6 chose mostly Middle Eastern meals - and were quite satisfied. Service was professional and warm, but not in-your-face. Décor was lovely. Local Israeli beer was divine.

No reservation required for us, but we went in three people at about 9 pm. If you're in many people, it's better to make a reservation
