Had lunch there today with a friend. The homemade pasta with chicken is FABULOUS! Love their Focaccia Bread and dips too! Calamari is the best anywhere! Service today was fast and good even though practically all tables were full. When I am in Jerusalem, Focaccia Bar is a must for me!

Let me clarify that this is the KOSHER Focaccia Bar on 35 Emek Refaim in Jerusalem's German Colony. I've never been to the non kosher one so I can't compare. For starters, it's a beautiful place: dim lighting, vegi stand like at the farmer's market, large windows overlooking the street. We had no problem being seated exactly where we wanted... More

Not only is this place open on Shabbat which is awesome for visitors, the food is delicious. We decided to take a break from the typical hummus and falafel, Shabbat seeming like a good time since most places are closed. A friend who lives in Jerusalem recommended it because its one of her favorite places. Ordered foccacia, a local white... More

We were very happily impressed with this place when we had a very enjoyable lunch here one afternoon. The staff was very accommodating - even catering to our specific dietary needs - and was cordial enough to replace a drink when we asked to have it remade. The chicken I had was delicious and the rest of the food my... More

I have eaten with my wife at Focacias on many occasions and it is one of our favourite eating venues in Jerusalem. The quantity of food is as much as you can eat and actually has defeated me on more than one occasion. Very popular with young people

This restaurant was considered once, one of the best in Jerusalem. It is opened on Saturdays, which makes it "non kosher". Also once it had reasonable prices, an above average service and very good food. Well, unfortunately, all these attributes were in the past. Today, much is let to be desired. A while ago, I lunched there with a friend.... More

First meal in Israel I had right here. It came highly recommend by my tour guide. I would recommend making a reservation as the place gets pretty crowded at certain times. The food is high quality, and I would recommend getting the pizza or focaccia that are made fresh on premises. It's non-kosher and open during Shabbat so don't worry.... More

As a licensed guide I made a reservation for Sat. party of nine people, and know the restaurant from previous visits. Yesterday, food on the food scale was abysmal, including a small chicken bone in the soft goat cheese. I gave the chicken bone to the manager who told me that he would notify the kitchen, had this been in... More

One of the oldest still running restaurants in Jerusalem. This place is decent if you happen to be in the area but I wouldn't make an exception for it.
