I've been meaning to write a review about this place. A group of us, around 10, stayed 2 nights. It was wonderfully located, far away from the cruise ship tourists. We had a wonderful view of St. Johns Basilica with storks' nests every where. The rooftop was simply beautiful with wonderful views. We could also easily walk into town. The... More

I'd read good reviews for this place, both for lodging and food, but was only able to dine here. Dinner was so wonderful and an excellent value in price - 4 mezes, 2 mains for $25TL. We ordered 2 hot mezes (the eggplant/tomato and the string beans) and 2 cold (feta salad and chickpea salad). For mains, we had the... More

It was time for a late lunch and we set out to look for the Bella Hotel in Selcuk. Knowing only that it was across from St. John’s Basilica, we easily found it, navigating by road signs. The folks at the front desk warmly welcomed us and directed us up the stairs to the restaurant, and though there was a... More

This is a beautiful and well-run restaurant worth definitely worth paying a visit to; it will be a memorable one. Best moussaka I've ever had anywhere (I had the vegetarian option without meat; my husband had the non-veggie style and said it was the best he had ever had, having traveled for three months about Greece). The service was friendly.... More

We stayed here one night and decided to have dinner on the lovely rooftop terrace. There are not that many tables, so reserve ahead. You can either sit at regular tables or at a lower table with ottoman style seating. Wonderful views. Dinner was just 25TL and was a steal for what one got. Lentil soup, your choice of 2... More

The hotel was easy to find once you reach Selcuk (it's across the road from St John's Basilica). Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We were on the 3rd floor, one floor below the roof top restaurant. The hotel was like a museum with artifacts everywhere, in the hallways and the rooms. The roof top was... More

Roof-top locations for tasty, traditional Turkish food at very reasonable prices (25 Turkish lira, about $13, for a 4-course meal, or 5 TL, about $3, for a good -sized meze appetizer).

This was by far our least favorite meal in Turkey. Our fish was not cooked all the way through and the sides dishes were really just so so..Only one choice for desert and the night we were there it was not edible for most of our group. Hopefully we just went on a bad night because it is really a... More

We went mainly to view the neighboring stork nests, and were fascinated by the families with young birds, but were equally impressed with this decorative roofed dining patio and excellent food.
