Met a friend here for lunch and the food was superb. I had the meatballs with tomato sauce and fries, delicious. Nice wine too. One thing to be aware of is that there are many of the House Cafes in Istanbul so make sure you get the correct one. There is another one 100 metres from this one next to... More

The food, the service is all good. The entrance is awkward because it's inside an apartment building with homes. The food and the garden and atmosphere are all fine. But it is overpriced. You really pay for the location and atmosphere rather than the food.

Stop by at our last day in istanbul. Tired after long walk of shopping spree, at the expensive neighborhood of sisli. The service is efficient and quick. (Love that). Having turkey and eggs sandwich and my partner having sucuk sandwich. That was delicious. The size of portion is huge and generous. The price is bit expensive but not that bad.... More

While it is a bit pricier than some of the other Cafes around, we ate breakfast and lunch at this cafe several times as the food was so fresh and well prepared. I would highly recommend if you find yourself in the area.

Beautiful people, Beautiful Food, Beautiful Drinks, Beautiful Environment. Kinda expensive. I would still recommend this place for the experience but expect to pay full price for what you are getting. There are many deals in this city. This isn't one of them. :)

First member of the House Cafe chain. Very busy and popular in Tesvikiye area. Good for lunch, dinner and especially for breakfast.

We visit Istanbul often and we enjoy coming to the House Cafe for breakfast. They have quite a good selection of both local breakfast menu choices and continental ones like pancakes and fried eggs, etc. Service can sometimes be a bit slow especially if they are busy, so be prepared to wait a bit...

Our concierge suggested us this place from kempinski. The place itself is just great.nicely done great drinks and wine selection.service was ok until we got the bill!!! The waiter said the service is not included.but the tips weren't. Soo asked the guy to charge me 20% more and insisted that I should pay separately so I refused and he became... More

I visited Istanbul some days ago and I happened to be to Nisantasi, where the restaurant is located. After a long walk trough the shops of Nisantasi and under the continuous 'pressure' of the summer heat, we wanted to eat something good but in a nice place as well. A friend had already recommended us this restaurant so we decided... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
