We made reservaiton for anniversary day of our marriege. Here is very nice place inside Çırağan Hotel Kempinski. You can reach from inside of hotel. There is open space and inside. We sat at outside, weather was very nice. Service is very quick and staff was very helpful. We tried different foods and taste was very good. Portions are small.... More

One of the finest restaurants in town, Laledan has the formal atmosphere you might expect of such a place. Its superb terrace overlooking the Bosporus is the best reason to visit. The classical Italian and international cuisine is a little fussy and self-conscious but nonetheless superb. One drawback is the wine list, which fails to deliver on its hefty price... More

We booked lunch here upon recommendation from several people. The restaurant is within the Kempinski Hotel and next to the Ciragan Palace. We sat on the terrace, looking over the Bosphorus with lovely views of the hotel gardens and the palace. Service was excellent, the lunchtime food was exquisite and the wine was superb. This was a special occasion for... More

Visited the restaurant for its famous brunch. The buffet is massive. Did not know where to start. Mobile Bloody Mary station prepared in front of you. Don't miss the dessert room, speechless moment!

Seriously expensive, but then most restaurants in Istanbul are. All said we loved the brunch experience and would definitely revisit. Massive buffet but more importantly it was quality rather than quantity alone. Freshly squeezed juices. Great fresh grill. Salads galore. Desserts! Wow - one room dedicated to fine chocolate - more like a museum for chocolate than a buffet. Didn't... More

One of my mate treated me at this awesome place which I am familiar since ages although I had not been for quite a while Many things were changed in this the only living Ottoman Palace on earth over the years but one of the few things which never changed was the lavish, excessive and bounteous Ciragan Brunch! What a... More

Nice food and staff doesn't justify large prices of the menu here. Great view and superb setting but do not waste your money here even for the nice food.

The services was terrific - staff were wonderfully friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The wine list was interesting and the Turkish wines a delightfully pleasant surprise. The main courses imaginative but far and away the views of the Bosphorus and gardens, overall ambience and the selection of Baklava (now my favourite food in the world) was to die for! A really... Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
Besiktas
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
