As a vegetarian, I struggled to suitable food in Istanbul. At Sutis I found some great food. Sebzeli bulgar soup with with stuffed pepper and aubergine and red pepper salad, washed down with real lemonade. For breakfast I highly recommend mamris which is a type of spicy scrambled egg and tomato dish. The service was good, even though some of... More

I was invited for breakfast to Sutis by my local friends. This was my first time when I tried Turkish breakfast and everything was absolutely delicious. I've had scrambled eggs with kavurma, we also shared boreks (Turkish pies) with meet and cheese, simits (Turkish pretzel covered by sesame seeds) with cream and honey. Tavuk Gogsu is an absolute must try... More

Would not recommend unless you want a quick bite and you are not too fussy about how healthy food should be.

Very solid, sinple food with quick service and quite cheap. Highly recommended. It will not blow your mind but it has a nice second floor room with a view and food is very reliable.

Wonderful place for breakfast near Bosphorus. Just ask standard breakfast, they will bring countless plates of mediterrenan tastes i.e feta cheese, olives, tomato cucumber salami eggs and lots of other different staff. Enjoy the sea and delicious breakfast

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
