My local colleague took me here for a taste of old Istanbul. It is tradional homestyle foods and so was a great experience. The food was filling and tasty and would be a place i would return too.

So... things are simple. The cook does magic with beans and you will love the food as long as you are a butter lover, as they are using butter in abundance! Traditional recipes, extremely well given with a respect in tradition. Believe me, I know...More

Had a delicious lunch at this authentic eatery, which offers food from the black sea region. Fantastic bean dishes, yoghurt and all things local. Not a huge selection but all worth it. They do not speak much English but if you point at the dishes,...More

Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy
is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at

historically significant area, it’s currently one of
the most happening parts of town as well. Here street
vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks
of the Horn where the views of major attractions
