Breakfasts are so-so for 15 Lira (3 Euro), they offer a buffet, but the choice is small, too much oil in food. Although they have a second floor with nice view to The Blue Mosque.

Absolutely enjoyed our food. One of the best Testi Kebabs I've had in Istanbul. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. A great place to eat in Sultan Ahmet area.

Conveniently located near the historical areas such as the blue mosque. The restaurant has nice Turkish décor. The staff are friendly. We ate the Adana Kebap, soup, salad and fruits. Food is tasty, and reasonably priced.

A 2 night stay with my mum in November 2016. Location: just off the Arasta bazar next to the sultanahmet mosques, this was a great location for walking to all of the historic sites. Felt very safe at night too. Room: a beautifully decorated traditional style room. It had a charming little alcove with views of the blue mosque. The... More

We had a marvelous stay in Istanbul at the Sultan Corner Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Sultan Corner Restaurant for the Turkish Cousin. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. Emek Usenmez London 🇬🇧

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
