Went to this place for a quick dinner with a friend and it turned out to be 'meh'. I'll cut to the chase: I ordered a mixed salad with artichokes, asparagus and avocado. It was the dullest looking&tasting thing I have ever had. Although it was the right season for both artichokes and asparagus they used canned ones instead... My... More

Came here alone for breakfast right after I arrived in Istanbul. Really quaint location on a quiet street. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon which was really yum. Ate the whole thing. Cappuccino was great as well. Very nice and fast service. I could have sat outside at my table for hours reading if I had had the chance.

We stopped at den for an early evening beer and a snack. The beer was good and the platter we shared was delightful. Really tasty mini burgers, decent chips and some nicely baked tortellini. All with three tasty dips. Service was good. We enjoyed it

This street is better for having a café in Nisantasi. Pet friendly : so, we love it! I had mostly coffees and salads and enjoyed it.You can read your newspaper and have your drink. My advice is to go there in a nice weather and sit outside. The location is great as you can just watch people walking up and... More

Visited for a breakfast, we chose traditional turkish plate for two persons and it was a great choice. The food was varied and delicious, service fast and pleasant, interior looks modern and spacious.

I travel to Istanbul a lot, and always attend several restaurants in the same area of Nishantase'. Den was recommended by several friends as a place for great food, especially breakfast. While I always go to a place several meters away, I couldn't say no, so the wife took me there to meet with a friend not before we checked... More

What a great menu - very interesting salads and fantastic main dishes. The pizza was really good too. So many choices that we want to go back again and again! The staff was on top of everything and even though we didn't speak Turkish they were sure able to take of all our needs. You won't be disappointed!

This is a place where you really feel how locals live at trendy Nisantasi neighbourhood. Similar to St Germain of Paris. Good kitchen, modern. First courses and starters all good, but I like most citir mantı (fried local ravioli) and mini burgers. It has also has a nice bar. A nice spot to hang around whilst your girlfriend, wife etc... Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
