Situated on the 3rd floor of the business venue, Central Tower (right next to the Chingis Khaan Plaza a.k.a Sukhbaatar Plaza), serves home-made pastries, but has the worst coffee. They use imported segafredo beans (which are mostly overroasted), and don't seem to know what a...proper espresso is and coffee with milk is even worse because they don't froth, they boil the milk!More
I had coffee here pretty much every day for about six months in 2014, and even ate there once. the service is quite good and the coffee is quite good. It's very convenient if you are in Central tower, but if not there are probably...a lot of other places just the same. However, I would go there again if I was close by, so I guess it's not too bad.More
Bugis Coffee and Dreams has moved out of Central Tower, and is now located in a small building on Manlaibaatar Damdinsuren St, a continuation of Unesco St. It is located some 900m to the east of the Regency Residences. Convenient being in same building as office. Had a soup and salad, both of which were very good. Food arrived promptly - soup was hot and salad fresh. Not a huge selection but it gets my thumbs up.
Enjoyed a nice coffee. Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Therecwas also a good selection of beers including Australian Coopers.
A great place to grab a coffee and a snack if you are in a hurry. Located on the third floor in Central Tower it is a convenient location to meet colleagues and friends. The coffee is good and consistent, and the service passable. While...you wait for your coffee you can watch life go by outside on Peace Avenue, and people relaxing in the park below.More
I discovered Bugis Coffee and Dreams when my fruit juice crazy buddies and I had this wild idea of celebrating a joint birthday on Mongolia's non-alcohol day. Went to a popular dance venue, drove to another one, contacted karaoke bars (that desperate!) but no luck,...everything was closed. No alcohol, no business. Not giving up, we braved the traffic, caught movement in one of the cafes, rushed to the elevators of Central Tower and just when the clock struck midnight, our feet crossed the threshold of Bugis Coffee and Dreams. We ordered steaming cappuccino. My eyes stayed open until four in the morning. But that was okay. I tasted one of the best cappuccinos in town. On my next visit, at a more civilized hour, I discovered their vanilla milkshake. Oh yeah!More
Situated in Central tower close to the square this is a trendy coffee shop where you can sit and relax with a coffee and snack. The staff are friendly and speak some English so there is no trouble placing your order. Once you've had your...coffee you can browse the very expensive designer shops in the tower and wonder who has that sort of money in UB. Clearly some do!!!!More
I went there on Sunday. The pastry was at least 1 day old. We could not get the waiter to serve us. I ordered a hot cappuccino, which was served nearly cold. Very dissapointed.
Bugis Coffee & Dreams Cafe Restaurant is located with other restaurants on level 3 of Central Tower Building next to Sukhbaatar Square. Over my 3 visits I have happily returned to this place although the menu is fairly much limited to some 'light' meals +...a few snack food items. Unfortunately there are only 3 non-smoking tables & this seating is openly vulnerable to nearby smokers. Staff are mostly obliging. On my recent time there I enjoyed my ordered steak + cheese roll, generously large slice of apple pie & cafe latte. Apple pie was exceptionally good.More
