There are two locations for Patu Xay Café – the one near Patu Xay is a classy French-style restaurant where the uniformed servers speak English, and you can enjoy a meal in air-conditioned bliss. This restaurant used to be very popular with the expat community, although they must feel a rapidly growing number of competitors. Patuxay cafe has a very limited menu with overpriced dishes. There are 2 Patuxay outlets...one in the city nearly opposite Joma cafe...this is a small takeaway ....OUR Patuxay cafe is off the 3rd road at the top of Patuxay Monument...and I love this place...the menu is simple..the food good...and usually the service is great....remembering this is Laos...things sometimes go astray and awry...but overall this little haven doesn't disappoint :)

There are a few tables on the street or otherwise it is mainly a takeaway... More
