Living in Phnom Penh, we've gone past this restaurant many times. We decided to check it out for lunch. Nice greeting at the door. Good service. The food was good, but a bit expensive. There are comparable places in Phnom Penh whose prices aren't as high.

Despite the fact that many tour guides bring their guests here to this tourist orientated restaurant, we went here for lunch with a couple of Cambodian friends. I and my Thai wife find most of the Khmer food rather bland, which our friends explained to the waiter. The local dishes we ordered were served together with a dish of fresh... More

The interior is quite contemporary, the menu has lot of Cambodian dishes! None of the desserts were Cambodian. Very few vegetarian options. Almost everyone from our group of 8 found the food bland. Though the staff was very very friendly!

The restaurant was recommended by our guide. It was a good experience. The restaurant - including the toilets - was clean. Service was prompt. My husband and I had french onion soup with melted cheese on toast as well as one alcoholic drink each (a Campari/soda and beer) followed by two cappuccinos. We paid $US9.68 which was very reasonable. A... More

We were on a short trip to phnom penh with a private guide. Having done this before we know that lunch is often somewhere that suits the guide where they get a free meal. And have had a variety of experiences as a result. Booloom was much better than the average place we have been before. We had two traditional... More

Our driver took us here as our next stop was S21 which was very close by. It was clean, had free wifi and offered a taste of local cuisine. We had a Travproung soup, curry and an omelette dish. Our favourite was the soup. The curry was a bit bland for me but I had also spent the previous 5... More

This restaurant is in the city center, closed to national museam and S21 by car. It is clean and serve a good quality asean meal. Most customers are tourist with tour guide. Cost of service is ok, 6 usd for a dish. They provide free iced water and local desert.

Like other reviews was also bought hear with my tour guide meal was part of my tour so I didn't have to pay. Taking this into account the meal was very nice and large portions were given and the price was very reasonable. Only westerners were dinning in the restaurant but I would not hesitate to visit Khmer Booloom again.
