I went here twice and wish that I had time to go again. I had two dishes each time and all were excellent--string flavours and very good ingredients. Their stew of frog and quail eggs was a stand out. The frog was very tender. The soups of crab broth also terrific. The wait staff were attentive to me as an... More

Food was lovely, my husband love laab and he said it was one of the best he has had. Dishes were very authentic. Service a little slow, but we think it was nap time when we went. We were not offered upstairs which we now see exists, air con would have been nice.

So glad that we made the effort to seek out this restaurant. Air-con upstairs with Thai floor pillows to sit on and amazing barefoot waiters this is really a special Khmer food experience. If you don't want the pig's bladder try the uterus! So many unusual as well as edible options with free tea and as much rice as you... More

Good khmer food that seemed more authentic than other places and really friendly staff. The seats on the floor are interesting but not the most comfortable if you struggle to cross your legs! Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

This restaurant is located in a rather local residential and commercial area instead of tourist hot spot. It is often patronize by the locals at a very affordable price. The food is authentic, a very good place to enjoy the local food, often you will see more locals than tourist as this is a truly local local restaurant. A must... More

We were the only westerners when we had dinner there: a positive indication that the food is really local and not "sterilized" to pander to tourists taste. All the courses were tasteful, some of them really original. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices are reasonable. Really worth a visit !

This restaurant was a top pick in Lonely Planet se we thought we'd give it a go. Downstairs is a pleasant open plan roofed 'garden' restaurant with trees and plants and a relaxed atmosphere. It was empty and we were ushered upstairs to a an aircon room which, apart from the 'sit on the floor' cushions had no vibe or... More

Sleuk Chark is in the Embassy area of Phnom Penh and just around the corner from the White Mansion hotel. Situated next to a petrol station the entrance is quite unobstrusive and easy to miss. There is an airconditioned inner area or you can sit outdoors. This is a very reasonably priced Cambodian restaurant though expensive by local standards. Food... More
