We first went here in 2009 and it just gets better and better. There are restaurants that are better value, but none with the ambiance and special "Khmer"atmosphere of Malis, particularly in the courtyard. If you are looking for a memorable night out with visitors...More

I thought the food was ok - tasty and some good local dishes to try. Overall it was expensive for what you get. Us $30 for a la carte appetiser and a main plus a coconut juice and a coffee. The set lunch is probably...More

Chosen restaurant was closed so Remork driver suggested this one which he described as expensive. Sure, there are wines for over $120 on the wine list but at $30 for a delicious Cambodian Set Taster menu and $23 for a bottle of decent Pinot Noir,...More

Don't get me wrong, the food and service was good but just not as wonderful as everyone say. Everything was way too sweet, soup, salad, all our dishes.

I met friends here for breakfast. The food and service were great and enhanced by the surroundings. We sat outside. I thought the prices were very reasonable given the high level of service and cuisine.

Very interesting twist on local food, all prepared and presented in pleasant surroundings. Not the cheapest place to eat in the city but well worth it for a little bit of a special evening or for just enjoying the local cuisine.

Had a lovely evening at Malis with two friends - excellent wine, cocktails and amazing food. Sat outside in the garden which was a nice ambience. We had the house made sausage and scallops to start, followed by the fish amok, lobster fried rice, eggplant...More

Dress is pretty casual anywhere over there. Not sure if they will supply cake. But there is a fantastic cake shop on the right just before the central market. Go there a couple days before you need it and order what you... More

Malis is a landmark restaurant that has long enjoyed a reputation for pushing the boundaries of fusion food with traditional, original and new age Cambodian cuisine. With capacious seating and four VIP rooms set in a courtyard around a fountain, it is undeniably the capital's premier gourmet dining experience. Its busy kitchen is home to Luu Meng, Cambodia's only masterchef, whose artfully prepared dishes have graced tables around the world.
