Been here twice already as so impressed by quality of juices, coffees and pastries. Nice relaxed atmosphere, good place to go for a chat or to read whilst sampling their delights. Just been for lunch - a lovely chicken pitta with beetroot tzaltziki and a delicious freshly made orange, carrot and ginger juice. Mmmmm. Have one more day in Phnom... More

We were very impressed with this bakery-cafe. Nice setting, clean toilets and scrumptious food and drinks. We particularly enjoyed the dips and fresh breads (tried the pita and selection of toasted breads.) They offer a range of interesting juices and smoothies. Nice breaky choices and great coffee!!

Right in the heart of the Street 240 neighbourhood, The Shop has some of the best lunchtime meals and healthiest juices in town. This place is an institution in Phnom Penh, hugely popular with expats in the know. And a good example of how cool this city can be when left to its own devices.

This is the place to go for a good coffee and a salad or sandwich. All the food is tastya nd they offer a very creative menu of salads, sandwich, wraps and other bakery concoctions. Staff are friendly and efficient. It is exactly the kind of place Phnom Penh needs.

We stumbled upon The Shop today and loved it. Very quaint and peaceful - the fresh juices are delicious, as was the pate selection, fresh bread, and hummus. A perfect place for a snack on a great street to visit.

Great cafe on street 240 serving fresh quality food with fair prices. i have found myself eating breakfast here on more than one occasion The only problem is it gets very busy and hard to get a table sometimes. The poached eggs and bacon with the seeded toast is great and wash it down with a nice passion fruit ice... More

Great selection and really good food. If they have it, try the smoked aubergine dip with their in-house made sesame french stick - so good!

"The Shop" is located on Street 240 very close to the Royal Palace. It's a brilliant little cafe/bakery selling lovely tasting sandwiches, salads and cakes. The fruit juices and smoothies are really tasty too - recommend the Pineapple and Passion Fruit mixed one. It's a lovely place to relax for 30 minutes away from the incessant "You want a Tuk... We ate here almost EVERY day for 3 weeks. We would have lunch and buy afternoon tea from the little deli area. The iced coffees, hummus pitas, chicken pastas, wraps, mint lychee cooler, chicken and broccoli pie......I could keep going!! Love the atmosphere in here and the service is so friendly.

Description
The Shop 240 is located on tree-lined Street 240 near the Royal Palace, it was our first outlet when we started in 2001 and it remains hugely popular. This colonial-era house has a peaceful patio out front, a wood-floored dining area inside, and a leafy eating area out back. Ceiling fans keep things cool, and a fresh supply of free newspapers in this oasis keeps our customers up to date with world events as they enjoy our Mediterranean-inspired menu. We have other The Shop locations on Street 102 and Street 337 in Toul Kork as well as The Chocolate Shop locations on Street 240 and Street 63.
