Good local food in a pleasant garden area. We got there early without a reservation and soon after we arrived it really began to fill up. A little pricey but worth trying.

Always love visiting this restaurant and particularly because it is a training restaurant helping young people. We came here for a birthday and the staff helped us spring a birthday surprise. The pool is always a hit with the people we bring

Romdeng and Friends are our two favorite restaurants in Phnom Penh. Consistently delicious, reasonable priced and has something for everyone - kids, adults, vegans and vegetarians. If you're feeling adventurous, the tarantula and crickets were quite delicious! Not a big fan of the silkworm though..

What a stunning restaurant, a beautiful old building surrounded by greenery everywhere - an oasis, really. Started with spring rolls, then I had the fish amok and hubby had chicken & vegetable curry - both were amazing. The reason I am giving 4 stars only is the service was not good, even more so, because we were the only ones... More

What a lovely place to enjoy a meal! They had a children's menu that didn't involve nuggets or chips and my son loved his rice, honey chicken and cucumber. He even tried the deep fried tarantula! The food we had was wonderful and a fair price plus the service was excellent. My glass was always refilled. And it was nice... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner. We booked a table for 5:30 but when we arrived at 5:00, we were able to take our seat no problem. Perhaps during busier times, a reservation is actually necessary. The service was very good, and the staff was very friendly. I decided to try the beef with ants just to... More

Great experience, fun atmosphere, and supporting a great cause. Customers are mostly westerners but you still get to experience local fare.

The restaurant is in a colonial building with a nice courtyard which is where we sat. We hadn't booked a table but I would advise one to do so (especially if numbers are more than 3) as it was heaving with people and we were just lucky to find one when we got there. The food was excellent with some... More

Description
Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
