Lovely ambience. Service was very attentive. Menu varied but we had our own favourites so did not experiment very much. The restaurant trains disadvantaged young people to give them skills for future employment. The Friends Shop is next door and I left very impressed with...More
Friends offers some innovative menu, from Western to Southeast Asia inspired varieties. We enjoyed the tasty food in the friendly and pleasant environment there. The tapas concept is a good idea too.
The concept is so beautiful. The poor children get a chance to learn a profession, cooking and/or serving. They are taken care off. The paintings in the restaurant are very touching. I volunteer for the Association Ponleu Kampuchea, free health care, free education and free acces...More

First and foremost, this is an excellent restaurant with a huge range of high quality, inventive food. My husband was particularly effusive about the Burmese chicken curry! The fact that it is a great cause is a fantastic bonus. Must do in Phnom Penh.
As expected, similar in its style and approach to Romdeng, but no less rewarding. A bit more rustic than Romdeng, with more backpackers than holidaying couples like ourselves. Again the food was fantastic
My top restaurant recommendation in Phnom Penh. Truely brilliant restaurant pulling off terrific food accompanying a fantastic social program to support less advantaged with access to work training.
