This restaurant has tasty and innovative Tapas with fresh local ingredients. The Shrimp Mango salad and dessert were particularly good. The wine service was also quite nice. This isn't the cheapest meal in Phnom Penh, but it does come with a side benefit. This is a training restaurant for local disadvantaged children. This can help them to get into good... More

I was in Phnom Penh for a business trip but had the opportunity to pop to Friends with a mate for an evening meal. I had a delicious pineapple and chilli margarita and the most amazing zingy flavourful beef and banana flower salad. Nice cool peaceful surroundings and lovely staff.

I'm vegan and my friends aren't. This was great for all of us. It's traditional healthy "western" food. I have smoked bringal started and black bean, corn and taco salad for mains. My friends had pulled pork on corn fritter, meat balls, prawn salad etc. No vegan desserts but the mains are well worth it.

We had read the reviews online and had this place firmly on the top of our ‘to eat’ list. The reviews definitely lived up to the hype – friendly staff, quaint restaurant and a unique and well thought out menu, lovingly prepared/served. Little things like knowing the ice/water used to prepare food was filtered and fine for non-locals to drink/eat... More

There's no excuse not to go here. The food is high quality and very delicious, and the money goes to a good cause; educating children that otherwise would be living on the streets. Try the Braised duck leg in cinnamon, one of the most tasty dishes I've had in Southeast Asia.

We had several recommendations to eat here and we were not disappointed. The food, service and ambience was all first rate. Almost next door their is Friends and Stuff where you can get pedicures etc at very reasonable prices.

Excellent meal here. They do a great job of preparing interesting Cambodian dishes with some flair. Not as nice a setting as the sister restaurant (Romdeng) but we actually like the food here a little more.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the palace, killing fields and genocide museum. So we needed some light relief. The waiters were charming and the food adventurous and tasty. It's very reasonably priced and we would thoroughly recommend it. We ate the hummous on taco, chicken with cashew and mango, fish with shredded vegetables and carrot and pineapple cake. All... More
