Italian resteraunt that had no pizza, despite offering it on menu. They were out of Chianti, soup and burgers (admittedly not very Italian). Waiter tried hard and was very nice. Other food they did have was good and decor of restaurant nice (though it was...cold). Mixed bag.More

From trip adviser looks like a great place however more like a dukkan rather than a restaurant. We were not satisfied. Not like it has been told.

I would say one of few best restaurants in Baku. Good service, food and ambiance. Staff is very nice and friendly. Food was delicious and there is occasionally live music.

By far the best italian food we have had! It is really a hidden jewel nearby Baku. I think the restaurant has a very modest front therefore not many people know about it. It is in the one of the back lanes near Nargis mall....But inside it is a huge restaurant with really nice ambiance and excellent food. My wife and I ordered their alfredo pasta, lemon chicken and calamari. WOW! It was an absolute treat. They didnt even have the fettacini with white sauce and chicken on their menu but on my request they made it. The iced tea was the best i had in Baku. All in all i would highly recommend this place. The hosts are an amazing bunch of people with great taste. The bad reviews you see are from the older management. It is really great under the new management.More

This is the fourth time we’ve visited since it re-opened with new chef and manager and have never been disappointed. The manager is always on hand and makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Service is great and all staff have a high level of English....The menu is varied (appetizers, salads, pizza, pasta, meat and fish) and we have never been disappointed in quality or taste. We highly recommend to anyone in Baku. It has become our favorite ‘date night’ and also easy to bring our toddler to. Live music on the weekends is a nice touch. We will keep returning!More

Walked past a few times and although quiet the place looked nice. Called in tonight and very pleasantly surprised. Beef tartare to the steak and pasta was fantastic. Great service also, thanks to Vladimir!

If someone had told me that Da Massimo was at the levels of Italian restaurants in Italy, I would not have believed it. But when i went i had to change my mind. What they have more than italian restaurant is in my opinion the...welcome which is of course part of the kindness of Azerbaijan culture. I would spend some words also for the “beautiful” people working in this restaurant, i had been here during the Christmas Eve and I felt like at home with my family... Keep it up!More

This restaurant is amazing! It is run by two Italian gentleman that are fantastic! It is very difficult to find, but well worth the effort. Also, parking is not plentiful, so I recommend taking a taxi.

I had a chance to taste spaghetti bolognese, and it was awesome. I believe it was because of their chef.
