One of our friends is vegetarian, so taking him to a steakhouse was a challenge. We ordered Vegetables on a Hot Stone and Green dish for him. He was very happy. We all enjoyed our steaks, which I can now say are unbelievably good and the most affordable in Yerevan. Between four of us, we paid about 10K AMD each and that included a bottle of wine, a couple of shared desserts and coffees.

I loved Steakarar for a few reasons. I have been in Yerevan many times and never had such a tasty Armenian meat and so affordable. I have never had the owners host me and serve me. I have never ate at a restaurant in Yerevan that's bent on zero waste and is so climate conscious. I have been to restaurants in Armenia with good service and good food but the two servers who served us in Steakarar, along with the owners, were doing it as if we were their personal guest. Vegetables choices were great. I learned about the Armenian cucumber and lemon-cucumber and watermelon radish by just eating a couple of small salads. They grow all in their vineyard where they make wine. Amazing experience.

Steak on a stone is not something new but the way they do it here was new to me. You get to select your own piece of meat from the two boards - one is marinated and wet-aged, and the other board is just peppered. Meat is local and really good. They have local wine and Armenian whisky, which was surprisingly good. I didn't see Armenian whisky during my previous trips. I have heard they now make gin in Armenia as well but Steakarar didn't have it. Everything else was really good here. For dessert, I picked something called Three Layers of Happiness. Just perfect. It's a family restaurant, so you get served by the husband, wife, and their daughter along with the other staff.

This is definitely the best new steakhouse in Yerevan. The only place I know in Yerevan where you get to select your own piece of meat and cook it on a hot stone. They sell only local products and their meat is really-really good. Non-meat options are delicious too! Vegetables come from their own garden. We loved it.

This is one of the most fun and engaging places to cook your steak and eat it too :) We were given a choice of having our steaks done in the kitchen but we opted-out for at the table option on a hot stone. It's really fun. And the steaks are very flavorful. Go for the marinated and wet-aged ones. Servers are friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help. We enjoyed our conversation with the owner, who served us wine and explained how they make it and why it's called 6100. Very enjoyable evening.

Very good cuts of local steaks and salads. The Summer in Armenia salad was truly exceptional in taste. Oven-baked Ishkhan fish stuffed with vegetables was also very good and unusual. From desserts, the Apple Roll was nothing special but the Three Layers of Happiness was superb. We were served by the family that owns the restaurant and they were very friendly, casual and attentive.

For a delicious steak grilled on a hot stone and a fresh, bright seasonal salad called Spring in Armenia, Steakarar is the best place in Yerevan. Service is unique. The owners - father, mother and their daughter, were serving us with attention that we didn't see anywhere else. "We are a zero-waste restaurant, so you must finish your dishes", told us the owner with a smile. The idea is that they don't push you to order more than you can handle and assure you they'll bring more, if you're still hungry. With wine from their vineyards, this was an evening to remember.

It's a very small and homey restaurant right next door to In Vino. It is owned by the same people. The uniqueness is that it's zero-waste and it's a steakhouse. They serve amazing local steaks and vegetables on a hot stone, salads, and really tasty local trout. We were served by the owner and enjoyed the conversation about their vineyard and how cooking on a hot stone is different. Recommended!.

I’ve been going to Steakarar since they opened. The owners and staff often greet their regular customers by name and that makes you feel very welcome. Although I felt very welcome even during my first visit. When it comes to food, the menu is laconic, but they change it quite often. Scrumptious steaks, fish and vegetables are the base. Desserts are also quite unique.

This Eco-councious restaurant (first zero-waste restaurant in Yerevan and I think in Armenia as well), is owned by the same people as The Club, from where they sent us here to try their famous Armenian steaks grilled on hot stones. The idea is simple - you select your favorite cut from the board, they bring the hot stone and the steak is grilled in front of you. What I liked a lot is the ability to try the same piece of meat in different degrees of doneness. Steakarar also serves fish and vegetables. Another cool thing is that we were served by the family that owns the place.

This is not a typical steakhouse but we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I picked The Fish, which was done in an exquisite sauce. My friend went for a steak grilled in the oven. They also give you an option of have it grilled on a hot stone on your table. From desserts take Three Layers of Happiness. Service is casual in a good sense, warm and attentive.

I missed steak on a hot stone which I had at The Club but when I went there, they sent me to Steakarar, which The Club opened just for that - to serve food on a hot stone. It's a great concept by itself but now it's also a zero-waste restaurant. Meat is local and very tasty. They show you the board with many cuts and you pick the cut you want. Salads change daily or so. Fish is local too. It's a first place where I saw the menu signed by the owner. He told me he signs it as a quality guarantee. It's a small restaurant but the family also owns the wine bar In Vino and Tapastan restaurant in the same building. And the family members serve the food and clean the tables. I was impressed.

Small unassuming restaurant serving really good Armenian steaks. A family that owns it, along with 3 other restaurants in Yerevan and a winery in Vayots Dzor, actually served us, bringing the dishes and cleaning the tables. It's a zero-waste restaurant, so "you have to finish everything you order" told is the owner with a smile. Warm and friendly steakhouse with amazing food and people.

Steak is not a national food but here they emphasize that they are serving Armenian steaks - from local meat. When I looked puzzled, they explained that typically steaks in Armenia are made from imported meat. But since this is a first zero-waste, climate neutral restaurant in Armenia, they use only local ingredients. In short, steaks were amazing. We also took Vegetables grilled on a hot stone. Most of the vegs are grown in their own vineyard. Service is friendly, easy going. Loved everything.

Great place on a restaurant street with amazing vibes, they also own the neighbouring wine bar, so I checked them both, but this one was impressive. They specialise on steaks that are cooked on a stone in front of your eyes, wines were good (their own production). And they also work on being zero-waste, for Armenia it's a breakthrough. Definitely recommend.
