Having been travelling in Cambodia and Vietnam we found ourselves longing for some ordinary European cuisine when, quite by chance, we stumbled on Une Journee a Paris. This is a French cafe that would not be out of place overlooking the Seine. We called in for coffee (ah, delicious) and a pastry (so authentic) and were so smitten that we... More

The pastries that I tried here were well made, delicious & buttery. Quality ingredients were used, hence the prices were higher. Coffee was also very good. I wanted to try some more but the 2nd time I visited, it was closed (Sunday).

Stumbled across this gem on our way back to the hotel, left feeling very happy after sampling a few baked goods. Plan to go back bc try the croissants after reading reviews. Best bakery we have found in Vietnam so far! Bit pricey but worth it for a treat

When I remember that I not gave this beautiful bakery my recommend yet... yeah now I do. Many delicious breads and pastries, friendly staffs plus a gentle French owner and so I never get disappointed or boring to come pick my déliceux croissant! C'est une bonne journée à Paris!

So many delicious pastries we didn't know what to pick. Did not go away disappointed. Centrally located in District 1 not far from the markets. Was lovely to hear the French accents in the background.

I always drop by here when in HCMC as its near by my hairdresser. Nice friendly staff but grouchy French guy who is the owner who has never said hi to me even though I have been there so many times! I notice he doesn't speak to anyone too! Pity because the food especially pastries and breads very good and... More

I have reviewed this place before, but as I was checking Trip Advisor's list of the best bakeries in HCMC, Une Journee a Paris was not at the top of the list. It really should be. No one in this city makes better bread than they do. If you are looking for authentic French bread and pastries, this is the... More

This was a great find. Excellent coffee and pastries. The cafe served an extensive range of food but we did not have an opportunity to try as just there for coffee on several occasions while saying in the area.

Very nice little restaurant which serves a real Parisian breakfast and lunch. It's run by a young french lady who seems to be really in control of her people and the food to make it a real relaxing experience. I advice anyone who has children with them to have breakfast here while it's also good to have a western healthy... More
