I love their pancake, banana pancake was so tasteful. Not too sweet, not too hot, just enough to be soft and well feeling in my tongue 👅

This cafe was near our hotel and as we had just arrived in the morning by train from Lao Cai we decided to have a simple breakfast here---eggs, baguette and coffee. It seemed to be run by an old fellow and his son who were both quite talkative and friendly. The food was good and we returned on two other... More

Best I had in Hanoi. Not much else to say. There is a cat that wanders in and out. I had the beef pho which was very tasty. Prices are very reasonable and consistent for the rest of the Old Quarter.

Having drunk lots of Vietnamese coffee, which is like rocket fuel, the coffee here is really nice - hot with fresh milk and not sweetened. Highly recommend if you are finding the local stuff difficult to drink!

King Café provides a welcome stop in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Very friendly host who welcomes you with open arms and provides great service. Went there a couple of times and would highly recommend. Across the road is "Backpackers choice" who provide a good, efficient and cheap laundry service, money exchange and tours. (see Mrs Phuong or Mr... More

The title says it all really... Very good Vietnamese food. Prices are very cheap. It is clean and the service is good. Be careful of the chilli though.... It has a lot of spice and isn't for the faint hearted.

Staying in the Old Quarter for some time I have diner in different places to spread my money around and to try which is worthwhile to come back to. Today I went to King Cafe which is only a couple of steps from my hotel. First of all, this is more of a restaurant than a cafe. Let me tell... More

Food was good, staff is friendly and the best part of it is that the prices are fair for the area. It's a quiet place away from the main road. You can actually go in and enjoy your dinner. It's packed most of the time around 6-7. Not too much room inside but well worth it. I like it and... More
