In Hanoi for our Travel & Food Blog, we have left this supposed "Fine Dining" for our last night review. Thrilled by the costumers reviews we came expecting great Vietnamese food, with a elegant modern twist: we were very wrong. Place looks nice and decor is cozy. Here stops the positive side. -Out table wasn't stable and kept shaking. -My... More

After touring Vietnam and Cambodia for 2.5 wks we ended up staying at the Sofitel in Hanoi for a few days. We had many good meals throughout this adventure. .. As our guide recommended this restaurant for our last night's dinner before the 4 of us parted ways. There is a back story to this restaurant as it teaches and... More

The food is absolutely delicious - I had possibly the best duck dish out of 3 I had in Hanoi. And I love the fact that the restaurant was set up by KOTO graduates, so you're also supporting a great cause. However the experience was rather underwhelming - the decor is rather plain, and it slightly lacks atmosphere - possibly... More

Cauliflower soup was delicious, followed by an excellent salad with mixed greens and mung beans. The main menu was both varied and geared towards all sorts of diets. Services were impeccable, could not fault it. Thank you for the experience. A nice place to finish. We had a three course dinner and everything was delicious, especially the lamb. For dessert... We read about P&P's and decided to make a reservation. Would be one of the best meals I have had while travelling. Having lived in Hanoi for 18 months now, we can say without doubt, that this is one culinary experience not be missed in Hanoi. I know....but it has to be said. A great place for dinner. The decor... The staffs were really nice, and they will help you select foods from the menu which can be a bit daunting unless you're used to eating at hight-end restaurants. This is a restaurant chain with a social conscience to train youth living on the street to give them the skills to join their team. Absolutely superb restaurant and a hidden... More

Fresh salad with beetroot was awesome. Wine list + Espresso martinis were thoroughly enjoyable. There was a wonderful merging of flavors and textures, beautifully presented in portion sizes that were reasonable but on the larger side. As a big supporter of both Koto and Small Giants, I was highly anticipating my visit to this restaurant - a partnership of the... More

Based on the excellent tripadvisor reviews we decided to have our special new years eve dinner here for a party of 8, a big mistake as it turned out. What was supposed to be a special night to highlight and celebrate our family reunion turned out to be the lowlight of the entire trip. We all had the degustation dinner... More

The menu is rich with seafood based dishes and the service is very good. We would have loved to see more Vietnamese plates in the menu.

Visited Pots 'n Pans for lunch today & enjoyed every mouthful. We ordered the set lunch menu with different options each. Good move! Great service, great decor & beautifully presented food. Must also mention the good choice of background music. Prices good for quality of food.

Description
Pots ‘n Pans is about innovation. Vietnamese cuisine infused with an international flair. Our food takes the best ideas from modern Vietnamese and puts a new spin on them. The flavours are familiar but done differently. We don’t want to detract from what we believe to be the core of Vietnamese cuisine which is a big emphasis on fresh and local ingredients. However, we believe that the produce found in Vietnam should lend itself to a wider range of cooking techniques and presentation.Pots ‘n Pans is a dynamic partnership between Know One Teach One (KOTO) and its training program graduates along with its international partner; Small Giants. KOTO is a not-for-profit organisation in Vietnam that is changing the lives of street and disadvantaged youth through vocational training. Small Giants is a boutique Australian impact investment company that is dedicated to businesses that are changing the world.
