Had lunch here near hoan kiem lake. Nice broken rice with pork chop. Many other variety of food to choose. Royal coffee too strong with liquor. better to drink Vietnamese coffee next time. but Saw a rat ran pass my table at the time!! Means cleanliness needs to be improved!

I have a good impression on Ciao. I love ice cream with rum and dried grapes there, and it's my habit to visit Ciao whenever I am near Hoan Kiem Lake. I highly recommend this shop for coffee, ice creams.

This place has low ratings but the feel of the place is good with a mixture of tourists and middle class locals. Service was fine and the waiter spoke good English. Menu is vast and opted for a local dish of spring rolls which were good. Also had a passion fruit juice which got without ice and was also nice.... More

The cafe served a wide variety of international meals and Asian style food, very clean. I found it just nice, and the service was good.

Ate here twice during my stay. Extensive menu both western and Vietnamese. I had fried noodle dishes both times and was quite pleased with them. Good sized portions and satisfyingly tasty. My colleague had a chicken curry the first time and a beefsteak the second and also was content. Prices were I thought quite cheap. Service was fast. Some of... More

Nothing here to get excited about. Staff were a little on the slow side, but the tet holiday may have been the reason. The food was ok, but have had better. Price wise was ok.

We stopped for a drink and scored a front table to watch the world and lots of traffic go by. Sadly our experience was spoilt by what I perceive to be racism. We were asked once to move tables after a group of locals arrived. We declined. We were then asked a second time, under the guise of it being... More

Description
This is a very beautil restaurant with high ceilings, beautiful drapes, aubergine walls, varous styles of period European furniture...an eclectic mixture of styles that really works. The food is both Vietnamese and western. Downstairs is more like a cafe with fabulous desserts. Staff are very classy. The only fault is the horrible smoking at tables which doesnt happen in Australia any more. I't is a great restaurant not far from the Lake in Hanoi.
