Very small menu. The go to is the beef noodle salad. They can accomodate to vegetarians also. Full of flavour! A must!

Being a vegetarian I simply asked for a beef noodle salad, minus the beef. The price was 20,000 less and the flavour was delicious. It's loaded with bean sprouts, lettuce, fried onion, and noodles - add some chilli or soy and it's the perfect dish. Only downside is that they only offer one actual dish, and then pork rolls or... It was my last day in Hanoi and I don't want to miss the chance to experience the local cuisine at Bun Bo Nam Bo. I tried the vegetable spring roll as appetizer and ofcourse Bun Bo Nam Bo and both are perfect. Cheap and quality food, a must try in Hanoi

We enjoyed our meal very much. The place is no frills which was fine by us. The meal was tasty if a bit simple but very cheap. Overall it's an excellent option if you're in the area, but not worth a long detour.

Ate here twice. Best place for bun bo nam bo we found... Perfect ratios! Only reason for not full rating is the staff really only trying to maximize amount of people and quick table turnover. Was paying and the owner attempted to push me aside just so he could get more noodle bowls to serve. Change from employee who took... More

Fresh noodle dish with vegetables, beef, peanuts, bean sprouds and fresh herbs, etc. Tastes amazing in a vietnamese atmosphere. (Try the coconut cake for desert) Totally recommend!

First time to try bun bo nam bo which is beef noodle salad popular in northern Vietnam. Lettuce and herbs on the bottom of a bowl, rice noodle in the middle, stir fried beef with bean sprouts on the top with a final touch of roasted peanuts and shallots. Add a few chilies, squeeze a Thai lime and then mix... More

Description
Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
