We arrived at Duong Dining in the Hanoi old quarter but the restaurant was booked out. Instead of being turned away, my husband and I were driven to the Duong Restaurant, also in the old quarter but a distance away that would have made walking...difficult, at no cost to us. We had just walked in from the street so the restaurant was under no obligation to do this for us! We both ordered the traditional set menu and the food was outstanding! My husband had the pork and I chose the fish for the main course. There are also set menu options for a more Western cuisine as well as a la carte options. We can not recommend this restaurant (either the dining or the restaurant venues) enough. I do recommend making an online booking 24 hours in advance using their website booking page though to ensure you can get a table. Their response to these bookings are prompt with clear information about the address and time of booking (in English, if needed - we needed this). If you are in Hanoi, make a booking and eat at this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.More

We had dinner yesterday, 05.09.22, and we didn't expect such a class restaurant (related to ambiance, food serving and presentation, the FABULOUS food teast, the way the waitress was giving explanations and advices, even asking on each dish about specific types of allergies: we"be chosen...the Traditional Vietnamese Set menu and 1Western Set menu), as from outside it didn't look so impressive! Me and my wife have been well impressed about everything, and we highlight recommend this restaurant!More

I went to this restaurant with a local friend whom i've been knowing for a long time. We had a variety of different dishes ranging from spring- and summer rolls as a starter to Bún chả and Chả cá, which was my personal highlight. Chả...cá in general is already a perfect dish in itself, combining tender chunks of fish with green onions, dill, ricenoodles and vegetables. But the intepretation of Chả cá at Dương's Restaurant was just outstanding. Normally it is served with mắm tôm, a rather pungent shrimp sauce, which might not be for everyone. But in this place it was kind of brought to the next level, while still maintaining it's original nuances. All in all a very pleasant evening, and my friend was blown away too! Can't wait to be back to experience the food again.More

After being recommended by our Hotel and without having eaten in Hanoi before we were not sorry. We chose the traditional menu and the food was so delicious and so many flavours! Entree was spring rolls following by Pho and then fish or pork for...main. House white wine was also very nice. The meal was topped off with dessert of black sticky rice sweet soup with icecream. Price was reasonable and we could tell we were in a quality restaurant.More

Amazing. The food itself was very tasty, not too much of everything, just well balanced. The waitress was informative and new all about the ingredients used.

Absolutely the best meal we could have hoped for! My husband and I are visiting on our honeymoon and this restaurant was recommended by our tour guide. He truly hit the nail on the head! Fine dining meets local cuisine at its best. We highly...recommend the pre fixed menu of local fare. Dish after dish was phenomenal. You will not be disappointed!More

Without a doubt I had my worst meal in all of Thailand and vietnam here--and it was by far my most expensive as well. I seriously question how I could have had such a different experience than nearly every other diner on this site. The...set menu is 500,000 dong, and the only thing offered. Spring rolls were good, pho was the best of all five dishes (but if you can't do pho well you shouldn't be in business).. Green papaya with shrimp was so bland and had no any seasoning, literally had zero flavor. Grilled fish (cha ca) was rubber. I had to cut it with a knife. Had it been described as cha ca I would have passed as I already had that the night before--but no description on menu. Desert was atrocious: an incongruous mix of frostbitten vanilla ice cream with plain yogurt (huh?) and a pile of black rice. In the bowl it looked like a pile of mush. The waitress spoke little English, which is fine, but there certainly was no explanation of dishes, flavors, anything. I so regret wasting my dong on this meal. Atmosphere was dark, bland and empty.More

Had a great time at Duong’s Restaurant last night. It’s newly reopened so there was only a set menu available. They were quite accommodating in letting my friend who had stomach issues order one plate. The service was great and the food was as well....The standouts were the spring rolls, beef pho, grilled fish, and the Vietnamese meatballs (bun cha). Definitely check this place out.More

The best restaurant we went to in all of Hanoi! They opened up a few days early for us ahead of their official reopening and hosted our rowdy group of 14. The food was SO delicious (seriously so so YUMMY), service was incredible, and the...ambience was modern with Vietnamese charm. They even surprised us with a whole cake for our anniversary! As a Vietnamese-American, HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially if you’re from the U.S. and want a great sampler of authentic Vietnamese food but are a little nervous to try the street food.More

This place was good, but could be a lot better. The food is moderately priced. The quality of ingredients is high, but some of the food was cold, or overcooked. Also, looking into the dirty kitchen made me regret eating there. I would go back...again if they rectified these issues.More

Ultimately, the restaurant reached out to me here through messaging to provide the email address. The website is faulty. Have tried so many times on different days from different devices.
