Great service. Ask for the photo menu if you're having a hard time making choices - over 100 dishes to choose from! Our waitress brought over the photo menu and helped us select our meal. Our favorite dishes were the stir fried pork & shrimp with noodles and the fried chicken wings. We ordered a couple other things that we... More

Quan An Ngon the well known Vietnamese restaurant came highly recommended and it helped that it was located quite close to the hotel we were in, in the Hoen Kiem district. It was lunch time so it was hot. We skipped sitting in the shaded courtyard and found a table inside. There was little or no air conditioning, but at... More

We are truly sorry this was not to your expectations, especially for the "pho", which did not meet our usual standards somehow. Regarding the temperature in the restaurant, we... More

All the vietnamese dishes you can think of, they have it. And all oh so delicious. They let you know if something takes long to prepare and bring it faster than any other restaurant. Best food experience in Hanoi!

Staff not paying attention and not helpful. The crispy pancake and An Ngon salad are good and I would recommend. We ordered a bowl of soup noodle with pork and it smelled horribly and put us off. Maybe we order wrong fish. We asked it to be removed and the waiter did not even ask for the reason.

This restaurant was very average indeed. Whilst offering plenty of seating, no where in the restaurant was well air conditioned and as a result an unpleasant stench of old food filled the air. It was dark, damp and seemed dreary to me, despite some life coming from the occupied tables. The food wasn't disgusting by any means, but it didn't... More

Dear theworldbycharlotte, Firstly, we are really sorry that you didn't get expected experience at our restaurants. As you may know, the house at 18 Phan Boi Chau Street is an old French colonial villa, which is always proud to bring an extraordinary design and airy nature space with peaceful view, but on the other side, in fact, did have some... Our concierge recommended this restaurant so we were a little worried it would be a tourist trap......but we were pleasantly surprised to see not a single tourist throughout lunch. Local clientele seems a good endorsement for this great value restaurant that's set up like a food court with open kitchens ringing the tables. Service was quick and friendly. Food was... More

We'd visited this restaurant twice before in 2011 and were happy to come back in 2017 and see what had changed. Thankfully we didn't notice anything changed. There's a building which is a historic house, I guess, that you dine inside, but there's also a courtyard where you sit outside, there's plenty of space. What's special is that it's somewhat... This is probably the original restaurant, now part of a small chain of 5 similar restaurants in Hanoi. It is in a nice building with a couple of floor with modern and pleasing decor.
