Really good pub, I had the gammon which was very nice, my friend had the special of the day which was steak which he said was ok, nice service by the friendly staff, would definitely go back

My first visit was ok for a meal in the evening. It was a decent burger & chips, my friend had a thai meal which she said was ok. The owner came over & asked if everything was ok for us. No complaints. My next...visit was for a full English breakfast. The 1 sausage was cheap nasty & not cooked properly the black pudding was missing. The bubble & squeak was cold as was the coffee. The staff didn't seem to be at all organised. The owner needs to kick some ar-e.More

Have been here 3-4 times before and its excellent place for good food,i go here at least 1-2 times when in pattaya and tired of rice and noodles really good food for good prices, will be back for sure

Unfortunately a very rude barmaid. I kindly asked for no spice in my meal and they said no problem. It was covered in chillis, no problem, so i let them know and was told to eat it "shouldnt have come to thailand if not eat...spicey food." And then she asked "if i was a baby?" She walked off then after the embarrassment had settled she came back (seeing i was annoyed) to ask if she could fix it. No i said. Ate a bit then left sorely angry. Thanks NidMore

Just as advertised. Watched dallas/tampa Bay game and had a delicious,huge omelette. Friendly staff. Will be back

We were looking for a traditional dinner to enjoy on Christmas Day. I therefore did a bit of research and the Sportsman kept popping up so after looking at the reviews it seemed to be the obvious choice. I booked a table via the website...and received a prompt response from Dave confirming the booking. Myself and my partner arrived at the bar on Christmas Day and were taken to our table. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The meal was excellent, there was a crabmeat starter followed by a traditional Christmas dinner with Turkey, ham and all the trimmings. The dessert was a toffee sponge which again hit the spot. All in all it was excellent value for money and I would certainly recommend it to all my friends. We enjoyed it that much we returned for the Sunday carvery a few weeks later and again it was excellent. It was a bit chaotic in the bar because it is so popular but they found us a table within a few minutes. We ordered the Sunday carvery and was initially told there was very little meat left, the waitress told us to go and see if it was okay, we did and there was still plenty so we decided to go ahead. I couldn’t fault a single thing about the food on the buffet, it was all delicious, especially the roast potatoes and beef gravy. At 495 baht it was also great value for money. I have to add that you also have a choice of soups to start and dessert but we didn’t have these because the buffet was so big. With Rosie’s gone, along with other Pub favourites from earlier visits, internet search brought me here. Tucked away on Soi 13 the inside reveals every effort maintained to keep this smaller gem very nicely presented in a traditional pub surroundings. New felt on pool table,...friendly waitresses, and importantly for me a proper British / Thai menu. Went with a full plate Roast Beef with all the expected trimmings. Unfortunately there was no greens, but I remained silent. That aside, it was still delicious and I recommend.More

Found this lovely British pub in Pattaya by chance and am so glad that i did. The full English breakfast is absolutely superb, so good i went back for another one the next day and the all that you can eat carvery is top notch....They also do some real ales, I had a couple of pints of old speckled hen which was a welcome change to the chang beer that I've been drinking while over here. Also i would like to say that Dave the owner is extremely welcoming and gave me some good advice on where to go while I was in Pattaya. Again tremendous little bar and will definitely be visiting again if i ever go back to PattayaMore

In Thailand October, been visiting The Sportsman for the last 12 years, and its as good today and it was in 2010 Food is ample and excellent with a wide range of Pub favourites along with excellent Thai food, Beer is sensibly priced with a...full range to choose from including Guinness and Stowford Press Have regular theme food nights, Quiz Nights, and all the Sport you can wish for. Every Sunday they have the best Carvery in Pattaya, I defy anyone to leave there still feeling hungry Dave, Owner/Manager is always on hand in the very unlikely event that you have an issue, and he makes everyone feel extremely welcome Would recommend to anyone if they are in PattayaMore

Relaxed atmosphere with friendly but not overbearing staff. The food was cooked perfectly. Would deffo call in again next time I visit Pattaya

Went there last week we waited 20 minutes nobody asked if we would like a drink or to see the menu people came in 15 minutes after us and where served straight away we left I had been there many times with friends but will...not be returning .The staff need retrainingMore
