Large coffeeshop with a phenomenal pastry and desserts selection. A little bit out if the way, but totally worth the trip!

Ordered one salmon egg croissant and one salmon sandwich plus one espresso. Waited 20 minutes for the espresso and after 30 minutes was informed that they have no salmon and was asked to choose an alternative dish. We did and after numerous enquires about our...meal we were still waiting. Overall waiting time over an hour which resulted in one espresso. After 1 1/2 hours we paid the espresso and left. Had a great breakfast next door at Zurich with friendly and efficient service plus quality bakery. Don’t waste your time at la baguette . The only resembles with Paris is the bad service ;)More
Received wrong item after waiting 30 minutes for order. People that sat after our table served before. Canceled order because did not wish to wait another 30 minutes. Upon canceling the order it took 11 minutes to receive bill. I was so looking forward to...eating but had to leave hungry. Disappointed in service.More
My first time in La Baguette and I found it to be very good. I had a coffee with a croissant and both were as you would expect, very good. The space is really nice, bright and nicely decorated with seating inside and out. Prices...are fair so will return.More
We went there on a typical sunday afternoon (not during a long holiday in Thailand, so to speak). The place was busy with no lines for seating outdoor but for take away. The security at the parking was helpful. However, when we entered to this...beautifully decorated cafe, it was an absolute chaos. No one cared to explain what we should do if we would like to dine in, where was exactly the line for takeaway. Everyone was in front of the cake counter. But the staff behind the counter didn’t take orders, they just did their stuffs. Fine... finally we managed to get a table for ourselves and by ourselves outdoor. I looked for the menu and ordered after 20 minutes gone with a staff, i also needed to point where we were seated. Anyway, the cakes come, one montblanc crepe cake. Asian style cake but tasted great and not overly sweet. The la baguette cake has interesting textures with the crispiness of the crust and dark chocolate mousse. But I got tired of it since the first few bites. We had two iced coffee, thai style iced cappuccino and iced latte which came with separated small jug of syrup. The coffee was thin, too waterly for my taste and very expensive, equal or even higher price than Starbucks. Then we had to find a staff to get the bill and pay. We ended up paying roughly 600 thb. The cake was nice but nothing spectacular. I would come again, if passing by or craving for cakes in Pattaya. Definitely not a must go spot for my tastesMore
I visited this place twice over the weekend and was very happy with the food on both occasions as it really was exceptional, but the service and ambiance are absolutely dreadful. My advise to readers is to take away only! On the Saturday we ordered...cold cuts to take away, after 30 mins of waiting we asked for an update to realise that no message has been passed from the cashier to the kitchen. It finally took an hour to take our food away with us. I accept that mistakes do happen and wanted to return to order a couple of the breakfast items, so we returned on Sunday late morning and were just shocked at the absolute chaos. After waiting 45 mins we still hadn’t receive any of the dishes we ordered. I ordered an easy to prepare, croque Madame. We chased and chased the food and kept getting told 6 minutes.... once again we saw our food appear after waiting an hour. The noise of clashing cutlery was so loud, my partner found that we were shouting to have a conversation. The staff were busy running around and there is little room to move. Would you rather wait for good food with terrible service or head somewhere with average food and outstanding service ? You decide....More
We ordered Cheese lava croissant, but what actually it is a Custard croissant. Sweet and a bit sour. We also order tea, which is very poor quality of tea loaded with syrup. It is a very popular cafe, always full of customers, but food quality...is not what it may look.More
We visited here for the long holiday. It took them 1.5 hours to serve what we ordered. They didnt have most of the things on the menu and asked to change the order 30mins after having placed the order. Even the servers dont know whats...available. It took them an hour to get a piece of cake which must have been ready to eat. To add the cheery on top they brought a bill with stuff they had run out and we had to revise the bill as well. In conclusion no one knows whats going on here. Recommend to go to some other bakery if you value your time and sanity.More
Not sure how to rate this. The food I had was really good, but it was the fifth thing I ordered as the first four were not available. No salmon quiche, no bacon and spinach quiche, no Paris crepe, no London crepe. I settled for...a ham n cheese croissant. It’s 2pm and they are out of everything???? Frustrating to order and have them keep coming back to tell me it’s not available.More
Limited but delightful preparations - from a chef committed to quality dishes presented with a WOW. Whilst we ordered range of sandwiches, cold cuts, salads and even the Value for Money Set Breakfast (@300 Bht), we were impressed with each dish and attentive and safe...practice service stds. Worth visiting and going back for and, do take away some of their freshly prepared snacks, dishes or desserts as displayed at the entrance.More
