Well my eyes were bigger than my mouth. Had a good meal here pre Covid and was glad to see that the restaurant is still open. Ordered a plate of mixed appetizers and as soon as it hit the table I thought no way will...I get through that. There were quesadillas, chicken wings, nachos with toppings and something else. All were fresh and tasty and I was right I just could not get through it all. Everything was tasty and freshly prepared. If I remember correctly the owner was the original chef in the restaurant in another location and was offered the opportunity to take over the business. He relocated and the premises are perfect for larger gatherings or smaller dining. Recommended.More

The BEST Mexican food in town!!! Margarita is a must! Suitable for both family, group of friends & couples. The new location is even better than the old one, very cozy place. Highly recommended!!! 👍

the reef has moved to a new location just past power buy off central road, turn left. new owner and a few of the old staff remain. everything is new and clean and they take care of every dish coming out of the kitchen now....the menu has been downsized and lots of their good mexican dishes remain. it’s located on a nice quiet street, great for a break from the pattaya noise overkill. i would give it a thumbs up!More

I have been going to this Mexican restaurant for years but 8 October, 2019 was my last visit. Chips and salsa were stale not fresh. Margaritas had too much mix. Carnitas were dry. We had 5 people in my group and the only person who...enjoyed their meal ordered Thai food.More

Had a happy memory of sipping a margharita here a few years ago so decided to eat as was in the mood for nachos. Warning bells should have rung wen only 2 people were in the restaurant and after sitting for 5 mins had to...go inside the restaurant and find a waitress to ask for a menu.. She and her colleague were sitting in a dark corner chatting. Ordered a frozen margharita and beef nachos. Margharita very nice, nachos came and after tasting my heart sank, no lovely spicy beef here, I was served boiled mince on top of nachos with cheese and two pots containing sour cream and chopped tomato and onion. Absolutely no flavour at all. I went and found the waitress and asked for some jalapeños, she wanted to charge me 65bht. I said I was unhappy with the nachos as they had no taste, her reply was she has many customers and they are all happy with the food no one complains. Was unable to eat my food, wasn't even sure the mince wasn't off, to add insult to injury they added vat and tax to the bill for my uneaten food then shortchanged my husband by a few baht. Wish I'd read the reviews on here first... Don't waste your money on this rubbish food and bored uncaring staff.More

Visited in Aug 2019 last visit was in 2014. Observations: restaurant interior is worn out and smells of cat piss. Food is large portions but bland. Wasn't worth the price.

I had high hopes as I'd seen a lot of tempting pics on facebook, however I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The beef taco was decidedly average and the meat quite dry, the salad was also a bit ropey, one or two of the lettuce...leaves had gone brown. I would give it 3 stars but deducting a star for the fact the menu doesn't show the price including tax leaving you with a higher bill than expected. I really dislike this practice and it ensures that I don't leave a tip. All in all it was OK - I didn't feel particularly ripped off but was a one-off visit for sure.More

As an L. A. native who has spent some time in Mexico, I know when I find real Mexican food. I had a pork chimichanga (chimichanga Sunday special) and a classic frozen margarita. They were both superb. The only thing that is not authentic is...the cheese as they seem to use cheddar. This is forgivable because it's probably impossible to get Mexican cheese here. A small cosy restaurant, located near beach road. The food is super awesome. Even if you are familiar with Mexican food, don't think twice - order everything you see, and you won't regret it. The dishes are super big even if you order small version...(in the menu there are a choice of small and big porsion). Frozen margaritas are just fabulous. But one one minus for this place (that's why I gave only 4 starts) is their waitress. Looks like she works there alone, as we see her every time we come. And she always unhappy, unpacient to customers, and her face is like she is tired of her life and job. But if you don't pay attention on her, this place is definitely worth of visiting.More
