Restaurant is at the top of Soi 8 (opposite Soi 13) Nimmanhaemin Road, across the road from the 7-11 at the corner of Soi 8. Check what is on the menu by looking at the pots on the table at the front by the cooking area. Authentic Myanmar taste, prices very budget friendly. I recommend the dhal soup, aubergine curry,... Low-key but popular eating place, with Burmese and Thai menus, and quite extensive range of food to try, including salads and noodle dishes. Tea leaf salad worth trying.

I followed the Guardian website which highly recommended on this typical restaurant. I didnt try the Burmese food. But the Thai food was delicious and super cheap!

They have the best tamarind salad! I've tried the mango salad and tea leaf salad and they are good as well. Very cheap and quick service, although the place might need a boost up.

...but a great place for every day dinner. Nong Bee's offer a friendly service and great burmese dishes, served in a very simple way. It's cheap, the place doesn't show up with a beautiful decoration but the quality and authenticity connected with the nice staff is unbeatable. Have a look for the pots close to the cooking place - they... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Chiang Mai. It's no-fuss restaurant that serves really good and inexpensive Burmese food. We like the potato & chicken curry, tea leaf salad, eggplant curry. The staff are all so nice.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who told us it was one of the best places to try real Burmese food outside of Burma. The restaurant is just off the main road and is easy to find. It is fairly basic - a few tables on the road and a few under cover. Staff were all helpful... More

A friend took me here the first time a little over a year ago. Then I moved to the same block, and now eat here at least 5x a week. Sometimes twice a day. Aon cooks great Thai food, but the Burmese flavors and dishes are just amazing. We fed 6 people here one day for about $12US, and there... More

When you lay eyes on this place, you might be hesitant. BUT eat here! It was one of the best meals we've had in Thailand - three of us feasted (bean soup, 2 tea leaf salads, chicken biryani, vegetable biryani and two LARGE beers) for about $11. Yes I said 3 people, delicious feast, and 11 dollars! Do it.

Several of the dishes I ordered were out, so I changed it up and cancelled one. The dishes are small, so order several if you go here. I got chicken curry with gourd, tamarind leaf salad, and tomato salad (that last one I don't remember ordering, but they brought it). They were out of tea leaf salad and the sour... More
