I met friends for dinner and they all loved the beer and the food. For a vegetarian this would not have been my first choice of restaurant as there were limited choices. I ordered the ravioli which was tasty and well presented.

From the moment we walked into this restaurant and received such a warm and friendly welcome from 'G' himself we knew we had made a good choice. Amazing German food - we had the lentil soup followed by the beef sausage, potatoes and sauerkraut followed by the delicious 'innocent apple strudel'. Beer menu is huge and G is very helpful... If you had it with Thai food, this is a good place to go. Though they serve Thai food as well. Food itself was good, not special but far above average. The beer menu is outstanding. One mistake: they serve Heineken as a local beer.

Thank you very much for the review I am sorry to hear that your experience here at our Restaurant was so bad. What I don't understand is that you didn't tell me right away, as I always go around and ask our Guests to ensure that the Food is OK. For the wrong order... One word to our Staff (... More

We visited this evening, we chose to eat here as we were dining with an ex pat friend of ours who lives in Bangkok- he's eaten here several times. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who informed us he had been in Bangkok for 17 years after moving from Germany. He took time to chat to us making recommendations... More

G's is a great find in the heart of the gay area of Silom Soi 2, providing a great service with a smile and wonderful German food and a wide range of beers from Europe and Asia. We go regularly when in Bangkok and would recommend this place to anyone

Being lodged in a part of Bangkok I rarely stay in, I decided to go to a place I normally avoid like the plague, Patpong, and seek out G's based upon TA's ratings and reviews. I love German and Austrian cuisine, and one look at the menu immediately cheered me up. I saw they had liver dumpling soup! One of... More

In G's Restaurant you will find a delicious selection of typical and homemade German dishes. It includes the homemade exceptional Lentil Soup, famous German sausages, the original Schnitzel and many more. Super leckere Gerichte Thailändisch als auch deutsche. Ein sehr nettes Personal und eine angenehme location. Auf jeden Fall ein must have auf der to do Liste !

This restaurant has lovely owner. He has time to talk with all customers. Nice variation of German beer and German food like schnitzels and sausages. When you have eaten enough Thai food this is a good restaurant to visit. They have Thai food as well.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
