It is a great little place with staff having a BIG smile on their face every time I visit this restaurant. Most people miss this place after having seen major attractions here. I would ask them to visit this restaurant once and they will never forget the experience for their lifetime. The food they offer is incredible. The culture of... More

This place rocks. Nice people and good atmosphere because of the '60s living room interior (Beatles playing on the background even). I had the terriyakki burger and my girlfriend the brown rice curry. The burger was great, but the curry could have been better. Both in taste as in presentation. Minor detail: a little stone was "hidden" in the brown... More

One of my favorite cafe's in Bangkok, i go there almost everyday. Its like going home after work. The love and warmth Khun Nueng( The owner of the Cafe) expresses is unique. Great food even if yo are not vegan I gaurantee you will enjoy the food.

Second time in Bangkok and, of course, second time at Bonita Cafe. We love this place. Went already twice, once for dinner and once for coffee. Wish there where more places like that!

We arrived here not realizing it was a vegan restaurant, but decided to give it a go. The food is delicious but be prepared to order a few dishes as it is generally quite a light meal. Had the 'sushi rolls' which are veggies wrapped in seaweed...not very filling. On the upside, the lady running the restaurant is lovely and... More

Away from the main attraction neighbourhood, its a gem many would miss. The set up in the cafe seriously don't slow they mean business, more after their passion. Perhaps so, the food are meticulously done that you taste the work of it. Husband and wife team set up the place so homely that they lose out so much opportunities for... More

If somebody wants to put up a husband and wife run eating place, then my advice would be to implore them to visit the Bonita Cafe and Social Club in Bangkok. The amount of interest the owners take is unbelievable and the care they give to their customers which, of course the customers reciprocate. The only sad part is that... More

What an awesome find. A fully vegan restaurant with such character and heart. We ordered the carbonara, Mexican chips, vegetable soup and for desert we had the banana pancakes. I would other the exact same thing again x 2 haha! It was so yummy the pasta and pancakes especially! The owner was just beautiful and very accommodating. There were sweet... More

I found this place during my trip to Thailand last year. This time I made a point to return an it was just how i remembered it: super friendly & helpful owners, good food and the perfect place to hang out with free wifi...especially handy as it's down the steeet from the Myanmar embassy if you're waiting for your visa... We just happened to walk by the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent and the owners were very friendly and happy to serve us. It was like having dinner in someone's home, highly recommended!

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
