You sit right at the edge of the river, only a foot path is between the restaurant and the water. People are super friendly, beer is cold and inexpensive, the food is yummi and inexpense as well, which is astonishing, as this area of Bangkok is rather pricy with the exclusive shopping centre right next to the restaurant and all the luxury hotels around it. We loved it and came here more than once.

This was right next to the Hilton Millennium hotel at the pier side. Since we woke up late due to an 11 hour time difference (aka jet lag), this was a great option for a late night dinner. The service from the staff were adequate. Staff knows basic English for communication. Seating was outside next to the water. Food, on the other hand, was definitely not authentic and suited for Western taste (everything was too sweet including the fried rice), but nonetheless, still decent and fresh, especially if you and your party are hungry.
There was no itemized receipt. The staff only provided the total amount for payment so we didn’t know if the service charge were already added. We left a tip an staff was grateful for showing appreciation of service. I give thumbs up for a late night dinner, but note that their food tend to be on the sweeter side.

I traveled with a group, EF Ultimate Break, to Thailand from 1/27 - 2/4 and we had our Welcome Dinner here. It was SO nice sitting outside with the breeze from the river and beautiful sunset view. Then the buildings and boats on the water started to light up as dark approached.
They had a variety of dishes for us to sample - same for drinks. Thailand has some really delicious beers (Chang, Leo) and I don't usually like beer. I really enjoyed these crispy shrimp rings they had, but the true culinary masterpiece I had that night was the Green Coconut Curry. Oh. My. God. It was like a symphony in mouth. The spice wasn't overwhelming, the coconut milk delicate...just beautiful. I had the whole bowl with a side of rice. I also loved how they cut the watermelon - so cute! They made it so we could pick it up off the plate and hold it like a tiny popsicle, haha!
Highly recommend! :)

A breath of fresh air in the high priced hotel district.
We were unsure if they took credit cards as not everywhere does but no problems with the card. Some people have reviewed that is not true Thai food but it looked and tasted like what I would expect. Not so much like USA Thai food.

The restaurant is very hidden, right on the river. It is best reached via the Hilton next door.
However, the journey is not worth it! The restaurant is very simple and only benefits from its location on the water.
The food was rather average. The spring rolls, for example, were very doughy and the vegetarian filling didn't taste very good either.
The staff were so listless. That's not what you'd expect from Thailand. We always had the feeling we were disturbing anyone, even though the restaurant was almost empty.
The prices are moderate. You can't pay by card.
Conclusion: The location is good - the rest is not!

Had 2 delicious meals here. The prawn/shrimp red curry is amazing, prawns are huge and juicy and plentiful!
Amazing spot right on riverside. More expensive than street food, but better quality and cheaper than the Hilton next door! 😂

We asked some Thai folks where we could find some authentic food where local people eat and they recommended this place. As it was adjacent to our hotel it was perfect because otherwise it might have been hard to find. It is kind of hidden. It is a pretty unassuming place and we sat on the patio. The food was fresh and delicious and we left full.

Excellent food & service! Prices are very reasonable considering the location & the quality of the food. Amazing to be able to have this experience right on the River. The only reason I don't give it a 5 * is that it has so many mosquitos. They provide smokers but if you attrack them, you might want to spray ahead of time. Try their excellent wing bean salad.

An excellent place with eerily inexpensive but authentic cuisine, the fish in lime broth, the green curry, the spring rolls or the incredibly good Morning Glory. The location right next to our hotel Millenium Hilton, made it easy for us to eat very well without having to go far. The staff is rather listless and the corner there is already a bit dingy but well located by the river.

The restaurant was almost impossible to find and the cracked path dangerous at night. Food was average and nothing extra special stood out though the students enjoyed the french fries. Gorgeous view of the city skyline was the major draw for myself, and the instagram crazy children.

Nice, family owned restaurant with amazing riverside location. Good food and value for money in an expensive area. Great riverside views, extremely handy if staying at the Millennium Hilton as it’s literally next door! Came here on our first night in Bangkok as wanted something low key after a long flight. Lucky enough to see a firework display on the river and it’s a great location for watching the busy river goings on! Overall recommend for good standard Thai food.

Our first time here. Our group was staying at the Millineum Hilton that was adjacent. Friendly staff. Very laid back. Slow service, but hot, cooked to order food. Beer is cool, not cold, yet refreshing. Great river front views.

Lovely informal local restaurant on the river next to Hilton Millennium. We've been here on a few previous visits so glad it was still open following the pandemic! We had a couple of dinners during our stay. Perfect Pad Thai and fish dishes. Great value and excellent friendly service.

We decided to try it as there were storms and we were staying at the Hilton .We were the only guests there .and there were 3 or 4 waitresses .We had to sit inside because of the rain. The food came hot and appetizing .The curry soup was very tasty and the egg rolls were crispy We had Ginger chicken and fried vegetable noidles The food was nice I wouldnt say the most authentic though The meal came to 900 THB which was a fair price .I say give the local business a go instead of the fast food and expensive restarants in Icon Siam
