We decided to try the buffet at this place for 2 reasons. First, the reviews looked great. Second, we were so tired after a day of touring and this place was next door (2 min walk) from our hotel. Walking into the hotel, it's pretty beautiful. Big grand staircases with a big chandelier in the middle. The cafe was to... More

Great selection of food and very high quality. Really enjoyed the sushi / sashimi stand....foie gras was perfectly cooked....and a selection of meats and sea food finished the evening for us. The salad and entree bars were great....as were the selection of cheeses and breads. In addition each dinner is entitled to a lobster..... Desserts were great...special mention goes to... More

Fantastic buffet, so much on offer, delightful salads, Asian/European dishes, and was greeted with a whole lobster, what a way to start the evening. There is a nice selection of grilled meats and fish available, the lamb cutlets were delicious and cooked to perfection. If you still have room there is an amazing array of desserts, l still think that... More

To be fair I wasn't so sure how the quality would be at all day buffet restaurant would be so I was a bit skeptical about going. Rated as the #1 Sunday brunch venue on 4square, we decided to forgo the pricier Anantara one for this. When we walked in, the seating was comfortable and relaxed and all the food... More

We do enjoy Sunday Brunch at RTC. As usual our Brunch excludes potatoes, rice and bread. Oysters are not normally my favorite but I ask for deep fried oysters and do enjoy them. A lot of choice and my rating is 4.5. Why not 5? The reason is that they have after so many years still huge problems to serve... More

Stayed in the hotel for a few days so went there for breakfast quite some time -- getting bored from the second day. They try to present a good variety of food. However the choices are quite limited. Fresh juice was nice but coconut water often runs out. Choices of salad were very few either. Coffee could be cold at... More

This is a nice place for breakfast. It has a good selection of hot and cold food. Especially like the omelet made by one of the chefs. There is also a dude making juice out of fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff is friendly. Prices are above average.

Although on the pricier end of the scale for eating in Bangkok, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The buffet is well presented and selection of food is way and beyond what anyone could manage. From Sushi to whole cooked Lobster, fresh Foie Gras to Grilled Lamb Chops, Wagyu Beef and Roast potatoes and lest not forget Thai favourites such... More

Description
The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor + style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style "VIP" space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs. Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.
