This restaurant is one of the best Indian places you can find in Bangkok! The vegetarian choices are very good and the variety is big. I strongly recommend paneer lawabdar and dahi ke kebab!

Having lived in Laos for 7 months and been unable to find a good curry house we were really looking forward to visiting Masla Art and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped through the door until we left service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The food choice was varied and what we ordered was so good,... More

I stayed five days in Bangkok and had dinner all five days in Masala Art. Such a fastasic cuisine, contemporary and stylish Indian Restaurant. Would highly recommend this restaurant who want to enjoy Indian Punjabi Desi Style food. Apart from food and ambience, I was very much impressed with the hospitality & special attention by Mr. C J Singh>

Good Friday and we all agreed that we should fast and not eat meat but where to go to eat? The boys straight away said "Indian" closely followed by "Masala Art". This is the first time we only ate vegetarian there and we all agreed that we could be converted! Great food, great service, all in all a great restaurant.

Good Indian food but a bit too expensive. Bottled water is given even without ordering and is charged.

We had Sunday lunch here, as the only table in this beautiful restaurant. The place is easy to find. Located in Eight Thonglor building, along with several interesting shops. Decor is nice and classy. The waiters were polite, knowledgeable and eager to recommend dishes. We ordered chicken tikka, lamb masala, and spinach saag with paneer. All were delicious. Next time... Had a delicious Chicken Korma & Chicken Tikka Masala, to go with some great, crispy butter naan and a cold Singha beer. Very friendly employees & good service. Even though the food was a bit on the expensive side, it was delicious and well worth a visit! I'll definitely be going back there again soon.

We decided to order out take away via food-by-phone.com (check web address) and selected Masala Art. Whilst it took longer than promised, which may have had more to do with the delivery service than the restaurant, when the food arrived it was absolutely perfect. Honestly, one of the best curries I've ever had and I've had a few. I can... More

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
