This restaurant is located in a house-turned-restaurant, of the elegance one sees driving past the many sois of Sukhumvit lying behind mysterious walls hiding the treasures behind them. Elegant simplicity, cozy and welcoming. Spring has added white table cloths and candles providing softness to casual elegance. Wood floors, high ceilings, white walls set the stage for a truly memorable meal.... More

EXPENSIVE Thai fusion in a cozy, intimate, upscale neighborhood (Sukhumvit). Large comfy pillows, low tables with candles dotting the lawn in good weather+indoor A/C sitting. Well worth the price tag. Small servings, so order accordingly. Everything is fresh, carefully prepared. Brilliant, subtle flavors. Nothing brash. Fabulous deserts even for those who don't favor sweets. Try the chocolate Panna cotta AND... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
