Laughing Boudha is the best restaurant in Pokhara. The Fish sizler is perfect and we have enjoyed it a lot, nice atmosphere, good service, nice prices. Just perfect.

Prices are definitely cheaper than anything around, but sadly, food quality is also poor and unprofessional. The veg mousaka was nice, but tasted nothing like mousaka, the tomato pasta was too basic in taste, the garlic bread wasn't toasted - and the veg spring roll was 99% noodles inside (!) with hardly any veg. Service, however, was friendly and professional.

I had the Laughing Buddha Special Chicken, it was really good and came with dessert! The chicken was without bones what is not necessary here in Asia ;) The owner tried to make everything as comfortable as possible! My friends can recommend the tomato soup! Go visit them! ;)

Do yourself a favor and pop by this unpretentious little joint in their new location on North Lakeside. Most likely someone will be playing a flute, or possibly a drum, there might be an adorable little white puppy running around, and you are sure to meet the Adhikari family, who are charming and friendly. If you are planning on staying... More

Pleasant dinner at Laughing Buddha of dal bhat and cold beer. We were hoping for some fish, but no matter where we went for dinner each night, no one ever had any. Guess this is a good sign that they serve what is caught that day and when it's done, it's done. Next time I would go by earlier in... More

During the last 5 years I've eaten at several other restaurants in Pokhara but I prefer the Laughing Buddha Restaurant because of the friendly, family atmosphere and quality food that represents value for money.

This place is probably THE most affordable place to eat at Lakeside. The food is great and the family who runs it is even better.

As the clasical spanish slogan on the outside of the restaurant says, this place is Good, beautiful and cheap. What we loved about this place is the variety of the menu with a lot of international options, but at local prices and with a lot of freebiea, like salad and garlic bread in a lot of it dishes. Very friendly... More

Some friends advised me to here after they fell in love with the vegetarian cheese burger. I must admit, it is an amazing place. The quality is good, the portions are good but the girl that takes your order makes the place. Went there a couples of times and I did not get disappointed!
