Whole coffee beans. Roasted or not roasted. Today I bought two different flavored beans to take back to NY as gifts- chocolate and coconut. Lattes, cappuccino or just a good plain cup of joe. We took some of the coffee beans to a barista friend in Nepal who was impressed with the smooth flavor. And the location is nice if... More

We went here for an afternoon snack after visiting the nearby craft market. We all ordered sandwiches which come with a cup of coffee (you can get a latte, cappuccino, etc for a little extra). They were out of two of the sandwiches we ordered so we had to pick others. The coffee was nice but the service was poor... More

Well, lured in by positive reviews and certain guidebooks we gave it a try. Location right on a busy street and next to an unpaved parking lot. You need to step through a workshop where some tourist stuff is being stitched together no one needs. Atmosphere is boring to street noisy annoying. If you want to be ignored by bored... More

The coffee is delicious. The staff is friendly and qualified. They know what to get you. The food is also nice. It is a community based shop: they sell fair-trade and local coffee. There is also an effort on sustainability. Nevertheless, the service is quite slow and there is no Internet provided. But you can borrow newspapers or take your... More

After a crazy day of navigating the streets of Kampala 1,000 cups is a nice place to unwind and enjoy authentic Ugandan coffee! Prices are reasonable by western standards but a bit higher than everything else in Uganda but that is to be expected at a nicer restaurant! Delicious meat pie complemented my espresso. Definitely recommend as it is across... More

Very neat place to go to get a cup of coffee or some fresh roasted beans to make your own. They always have a variety of coffees to choose from. Love it there.

This place has the best selection of coffee beans around. They have fresh roasted coffees from all over Uganda.

A great place to stop after you (and your out of town friends) have walked through the huge handicraft markets across the street. Has a cool hipster vibe and I always manage to run into someone I know.

Every time I go to this place am mostly going for there mango milkshake. They also sell coffee beans so if you love to brew your own coffee there's is just delicious. Am always amazed by how wallet friendly there menu is, I would highly recommend it for a light quick snack or breakfast.
